Cherry Bowl Card

April 27, 2014

Hello all! Helen here today with an A2 card featuring the lovely Cherry Bowl Peel-Off stickers.

Helen - Cherries

Instructions:

1. Place black outline Peel-offs for card onto watercolor paper: a cherry bowl, a pair of cherries and a leaf.

2. With Tombow Dual Brush Pens, color the Peel-offs. Use a watercolor brush and a bit of water to blend and shade the colors as shown or as you prefer. Allow colors to dry completely.

3. Add some shiny stylized highlights on the bowl and cherries with White Enamel Accents.
When dry, carefully cut out Peel-offs.

4. Cut a piece of Red Metallic Shimmer Sheetz to 5-1/2” x 4-3/4” and emboss with the Flower Mosaic Embossing Folder.

5. Cut white cardstock to 2-7/8” x 4” and emboss with the Lots of Dots Embossing Folder.

6. Hand cut a small white cardstock tag. Die cut the word Hello from Green Velvet Adhesive Sheet and position on the tag.

7. Using strips cut from the double-sided adhesive sheet, adhere the embossed Red Metallic Shimmer Sheetz and embossed white cardstock rectangle onto the white A2 card base.

8. Add Black/Silver Glitter Borders Peel-Off stickers around the edges of the Red Shimmer Sheetz and around the white inner cardstock piece.

9. Adhere the cherry bowl, individual cherries and leaf peel-off pieces. Option: Use foam dots for dimension if desired.

10. Cut one small circle from the Peel-off border and add it to the tag to create the look of a hole. Alternatively, use a Glitter Dot Peel-off for the faux hole, or punch a small real hole in the tag.

11. Stick the tag in place with foam dots for added dimension.

Love this Helen. So shimmery and lovely. But the best part is your water colouring. I LOVE that you added different patterns to the bowl. So clever and creative and such a fun way to change up the look of the Peel-Off.

Hello and thanks. I’ve never liked still life images but your card with shimmer sheet background is lovely.

Such a beautiful card! I like the effect of the shimmer sheet in the back. I am waiting for my peel-off sheets to come in the mail so that I can “play” with them.
