Elizabeth Craft Designs April Designer Challenge – Elegant and White

April 30, 2014

Hi everyone,

It is the last day of the month so time for another Elizabeth Craft Designs Designer Challenge!
This month’s theme is Elegant and White. We challenged our Design Team to create an elegant project in the color white or off-white. I think they did an amazing job! Here are the 10 projects our Design Team created for you.

First project is from Debra Hensley. Debra used the Accordion Oval Card die to create the front of her card and created a beautiful background using our Swirly Curves Embossing Folder.
The flowers are a die and look stunning around the oval! I love this card! Make sure to visit Debra’s blog for step-by-step instructions.

Rita Edwards created a beautiful card using one of our new Flower Labels Peel-offs which match perfectly with the Katie Label Pivot Card die. Rita also used the Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to give her peel-offs a little shine. A very pretty and elegant card. Make sure to visit Rita’s blog for a full tutorial and more pictures.

Candy Spiegel used 2 of my favorite Elizabeth Craft Designs products; the Flower Mosaic Embossing Folder and the Dragonfly die. A great choice to create a beautiful elegant card. I love the gold border and the Glitter Dots Peel-offs used for the center of the mosaic flowers. Make sure to visit Candy’s blog for more wonderful projects!

I always love Kelly Booth’s colorful projects but I also love them just white. Kelly made this elegant Pop-Up card using the Flower Set 2, the Big Triple Leaf, and the Small Butterfly die to decorate the card. For the front Kelly used the Damask Embossing Folder by Karen Burniston and the Accordion Oval Card to die cut the oval. Visit Kelly’s blog for instructions and full supply list.

Love all of the cards, what a great challenge to come up with. We typically don’t consider making cards mostly with one color but I think they are beautiful and a fun change. I usually like a lot of color and patterns, so this is a great challenge and so many wonderful ideas from the team members. Great job, ECD team members!! Thank you
