Karen Burniston Pop it Ups Designer Challenge – Triple Categories

January 21, 2015

Hi, it’s Karen Burniston with the January Pop it Ups Designer Challenge. Each month I challenge my Designer Challenge team to use Pop it Ups dies for a specific theme. This month the challenge was to incorporate dies from three (or more) categories in the Pop it Ups collection. Categories are: Accordions & Frame Edges, Pivot Cards, General Pop-ups, Pull Cards, Pop Stands, Edge dies, Characters & Props, Embossing Folders, and Accessory Dies.

For my project I took requests while attending the CHA show last week. Several people asked me to make a video for how to construct a stacked star accordion album like the one I made to showcase the Designer Challenge team. I also had some requests to explain the technique for making the Characters into sketch cartoons like on my Garden Bench/Poppy Card. I combined both those techniques to make a Happy Birthday Sketched Stacked Star Accordion card. (Say that five times fast!) My three categories are: Accordions & Frame Edges (Star, Star Fancy, Fancy, Fancy Seasons), Embossing Folders (Clouds) and Characters & Props (Rocky, Whiskers, Chilly, Honey, Buster, Hoppy, Dutch, Poppy, Props 1-4)

I used every Character and every Prop Set so you’d have a “go-by” for each Character’s sketch marks (not that I’m an expert – I just hash away with a pen until I like it) This would be a great project to simplify with fewer pages, fewer Characters and/or mix in some photographs, greetings, other dies, etc. This technique requires only heavy white cardstock, adhesive and a good black gel pen plus whatever dies you want to layer, trace and hash mark.

Let’s see how the Designer Challenge Team and invited guest Sandy Diller interpreted the three-or-more categories challenge. Get ready for twenty inspiring ideas.

Helen Cryer created a very clever, colorful and beautiful hybrid card that features two Accordion pages with a Pivot Card in the middle. Categories: Accordions & Frame Edges (Rectangle, Katie Stars), Characters & Props (Whiskers the Cat, Buster the Dog), Pivot Cards (Tags), Edges (Outdoor), and General Pop-ups (Happy Birthday)

HelenRectangleAcc

Summer Hills-Painter made this bright and fun Rectangle Pull Card using the Categories of Pull Cards (rectangle, balloons), Accordions (barn star) and General Pop-ups (banner). She created fun action inside the die through the use of a double spinner. (The spinner die comes included with the Rectangle Pull Card)SummerRPC1

SummerRPC2

Caz Counsell has another great example of the Rectangle Pull Card using the Categories of Pull Cards (rectangle), Accordions (star), Pivot Cards (tag) and Characters/Props (Buster, paw print and bone). She styled Buster with the positive pieces from the Detail Layer for an alternate look. The spinner die spins the star up into the card when opened.

CazRPCBuster CazRPCBuster2

Fran Sabad has mixed the Circle and Star Accordions together for a wonderful Grandfather Father’s Day card. I just love the color scheme! Categories: Accordions & Frame Edges (Star, Circle & Star Fancy Frame Edges)

FranCircleStar

Kelly Booth made this stunning 3-page Rectangle Accordion featuring the All Seasons Tree and Eiffel Tower. She used Glitter Dots on the tower decks – what a great idea! Categories: Accordions & Frame Edges (Rectangle), Pop Stands (Eiffel Tower), Accessories (All Seasons Tree), Pivot Cards (Heart)

KellyRectAcc

Frances Byrne made this sensational park scene using the Adirondack Chair placed in the park instead of the beach. Whiskers the Cat is styling in a pair of shades. Categories: General Pop-ups (Adirondack Chair), Characters & Props (Whiskers the Cat, Props 4), Accessories (Palm Tree & Pail), and Accordions (speech bubble)

FrancesChair

Helen Cryer created a “helencredible” card for the challenge. This one is a Katie Label Pivot Card and it’s gorgeous! Categories: Pivot Cards (Katie Label), Pop Stands (Eiffel Tower), Edges (Paris), Accordions (hello)

HelenKatiePivot

Shelly Hickox has made another amazing Shellypiece for this month’s challenge. She combined the Rectangle Pull Card with the Clock & Gears and Tags Pivot Card tags. The way the gears on her three spinners miss each other to open and close is very impressive. You can see this card in action on Shelly’s blog in a little video. Categories: Pull Cards (Rectangle), Pivot Cards (Tags), Accessories (Clock & Gears)

ShellyRPC1 ShellyRPC2

Raquel Mason created this absolutely fabulous Tags Pivot Card with a fun “Calling Dr. Love!” theme. There are so many wonderful details in how she styled Dutch the Fox. Categories: Pivot Cards (Tags), Accordions (speech bubble, heart frame), and Characters & Props (Dutch, Props1).

RaquelTags1 RaquelTags2

Donna Wright used the new Bathtub Pop Stand die to make the perfect pea green boat to animate The Owl and The Pussycat. She has so many amazing (and accurate!) details in this piece. Categories: Pop Stands (bathtub), Edges (Beach, Outdoor), Characters & Props (Poppy the Owl, Whiskers the Cat, honey), Accessories (Palm Tree & Pail), Accordions (Katie Label)

DonnaBathtub2 DonnaBathtub1

Caz Counsell was so inspired by Donna’s bathtub-into-boat transformation that she made another version, this time using the Bathtub on the Lots of Pops die for a traditional pop-up (versus a standing pop-up like with the Pop Stands). Categories: Pop Stands (Bathtub), General Pop-ups (Lots of Pops), Characters & Props (Rocky the Crab), Edges (Beach), and Accessories (All Seasons Tree clouds)

CazBathtub

Karen Aicken made this adorable House Pivot Card, styled as a dog house for Buster the Dog. Categories: Pivot Cards (house), Characters & Props (Buster, bone), Accessories (Palm Tree & Pail, Holiday House), Edges (Outdoor Edges) and Accordions (speech bubble & hello)

KarenAHouse

Sandy Diller was extremely clever in what she did for this fabulous hybrid card. She used the Rectangle Pull Card but then cut the Tags Pivot Card into it! And then if it wasn’t awesome enough she added two spinners inside the card for more action. A video on her blog post shows the card opening and closing. Make sure you click over to see it. Categories: Pull Cards (Rectangle), Pivot Cards (Tags), Accessories (Butterflies)

SandyRPC1 SandyRPC2

Kelly Booth made this wonderful mixed accordion for her grandson, who loves superheroes. The first page is from the Circle Accordion and the second page is from the Star Accordion. These two accordions mix together just perfectly. Categories: Accordions & Frame Edges (Star, Circle, Star Fancy Frame Edges), Edges (Beach)

KellyStar

Summer Hills-Painter made this funny (or should I say punny) card using the Spiral Circle Pull Card die. What a great idea to create a little “scene” on the front circle. Categories: Pull Cards (Spiral Circle plus the spinner from Rectangle), Accessories (Palm Tree & Pail), Characters & Props (Rocky, lips, bow), Edges (Beach), Pivot Cards (tags)

SummerSCPC1 SummerSCPC2

Fran Sabad made a gorgeous wintry Spiral Circle Pull Card featuring the Paris Edges and ECD snowflake dies. So lovely! Categories: Pull Cards (Spiral Circle), Edges (Paris)

FranSCPC1 FranSCPC2

Kelly Booth combined the spinner from the Rectangle Pull Card with the Adirondack Chair to make an angled pop-up platform for Rocky the Crab. This is an easy way to add a different look to the General Pop-ups. Her waves are cut from the glittered lace technique. Categories: General Pop-ups (Adirondack Chair), Characters & Props (Rocky the Crab), Accordions (speech bubble), Accessories (Palm Tree & Pail), Edges (Beach)

KellyChair

Frances Byrne found the perfect paper to use with Rocky the Crab. By using the spinner inside the Rectangle Pull Card she creates the illusion that Rocky is suspended in the water. A second spinner animates the greeting. Categories: Pull Cards (Rectangle), Characters & Props (Rocky the Crab, Props 2), Edges (Beach), Accordions (speech bubble from Katie), Embossing Folders (Clouds)

FrancesRPC1 FrancesRPC2

Raquel Mason made this chic chien card featuring a French Buster the Dog, Paris Edges and a shortened Eiffel “bone” Tower. Categories: General Pop-ups (Garden Bench), Pop Stands (Eiffel Tower), Characters & Props (Buster, Props1, Props4), Edges (Paris), Pivot Cards (Tags)

RaquelBench

Karen Aicken created another fun Rectangle Pull Card with Rocky the Crab and created her own ice cream cone using the party hat Prop with the All Seasons Tree cloud as the ice cream. Smart! Categories: Pull Cards (rectangle), Characters & Props (Rocky, cone), Accessories (cloud), Edges (beach) and General Pop-ups (happy birthday)

Well I’m inspired – how about you? These new dies are available now online and in independent craft stores around the world and thanks to the team you can see how well the new dies will integrate with your previous purchases. With Pop it Ups each new die is meant to enhance your collection and bring new possibilities. (Or should I say “pop-abilities”?)

Join us next month when the team is taking on the Artsy/Cutesy Challenge. They may choose to make a card that leans very “artsy fartsy” or very “cutesy wootsie”. Many team members are creating two cards to be able to try both styles. The compilation post and a new video from me will be posted here on the ECD blog on Wednesday February 11, 2015.

CountryScapes Country Critters 1 Gift Tags

January 20, 2015

By Judi Kauffman for Elizabeth Craft Designs

Our frequent guest designer Judi Kauffman is back with a batch of easy, fun tags featuring some of our brand new dies: Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s CountryScapes Country Critters 1 and Elizabeth Craft Designs’ Jewelry Dies 3 Dog Tags, Alphabet 1 Caps and Numbers & More 1!

Photo F

Thanks for inviting me back, Joset. I love all of Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s dies, but the CountryScapes series, especially the Country Critters 1 set, is a special favorite. The ten little birds and animals are realistic and absolutely irresistible. Measuring in at a mere 1/2” – 2”, they were designed to be combined with other CountryScapes series dies to create scenes (split rail fence, wagon wheel, and all the rest…), but I thought they were just the right size for making gift tags.

Seven of the tags have a single monogram for the recipient’s first name; the others include more lettering. The largest size Dog Tag die has plenty of space for a word or two.

???????????????????????????????

I chose pencils and a fine nib pen to color the Critters, but feel free to pick a different medium – PanPastels, watercolors, markers – or use a combination.

Instructions:

1. Cut Country Critters 1 from smooth white cardstock or watercolor paper.

???????????????????????????????

Photo B1

2. Color the Critters with a realistic palette. Thanks to Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s attention to detail, the dies have de-bossed lines to help you see where wings, faces, and legs are positioned. Tip: View photo images online to give you ideas for color combinations. (Example: You’ll find photos of bunnies in white, black and white, gray, tan, brown and white, dark brown, caramel brown, black – lots of options!) Because the Critters are so small it only takes a few seconds to color each one!

Photo D

3. Cut Dog Tags from gray cardstock in the medium and largest sizes of the three in the die set; distress the edges with sepia ink.

4. Cut letters, numbers and/or symbols from Velvet Adhesive Sheet in Black.

5. Complete the tags with a monogram, word or words, and a Critter or two as shown. Use foam tape for dimension beneath the Critters.

Photo E

6. Add cord, twine, or narrow ribbon. Write names, date, and a message on the back of the tag.

More Options:

*Add extra details, like whiskers, eyes, or feathers, using a fine nib Pigma Micron 005 Pen in Black.

1-18-2015 G

*Instead of using foam tape to add dimension to the Critters, back the cardstock with double sided adhesive sheet before die cutting and make flat tags.

*Instead of Dog Tags, use Tags & More 4, 5, or 6 (ECD #957, #958 and #959) for the tag base. These tags are larger so there is more space for spelling out words, dates, greetings.

*Hand-letter the tags instead of die cutting letters, numbers and symbols.

*Use a series of tags as a “banner” across a card front or as party table décor, one letter per tag to spell out a name or date.

Necklace & Earrings set using Jewelry Dies 1 & 2

January 19, 2015

Hello my crafty friends, it’s Raquel Mason here today. I like to coordinate my necklace with my earrings so  I was very eager to try out the new jewelry dies. You can create a matching set in so many different colors as there are so many different colors of Shimmer Sheetz to choose from. I had an idea in mind and got right to work.

Necklace

1.  Cut two pieces of Fire Opal Gemstone Shimmer Sheetz at 4.5 x 5.

2.  Cut a piece of Transparent Double Sided Tape Sheet at 4.5 x 5. Remove the release sheet and adhere to one of the Shimmer Sheetz. Remove the second release sheet and lay the other Shimmer Sheetz on top of the adhesive. You will now have two Shimmer Sheetz adhered together.

3.  Emboss the Shimmer Sheetz using Butterflies Embossing Folder.

Neckalce pieces

4.  Drop several drops of rubbing alcohol and various alcohol inks onto a felt applicator tool and pounce over Shimmer Sheetz. Let this dry.

5.  Use a sanding block to sand over the embossed areas to reveal the silver core.

6.  Sponge Teal Blue and Jet Black StazOn in several areas or as desired.

7. Use Jewelry Dies 1 & 2 to cut desired shapes for your necklace and earrings (Note: A Metal Adaptor Plate is required for cutting the shapes). Place the following inside your machine’s cutting plate sandwich – Metal plate, then altered Shimmer Sheetz, then the die with the cutting side facing down. TIP: If you want the pattern to match on the earrings, instead of allowing it to be random as shown, carefully position the dies so they cut pairs of identical pieces.

8. Use a 1/8″ hole punch to punch holes into all of the die cut pieces before attaching jump rings. Use jewelry pliers to open and close the rings. Refer to the photo for ideas about placement.

Options:
Use a 1/16″ punch for smaller holes.
Instead of silver tone, choose copper, brass, or gold color necklace chain, jump rings, and earring wires.

9. Complete the earrings. Depending on the style of earring findings you choose, you may need a jump ring. The style shown requires only Shimmer Sheetz shapes with a hole punched at the top so the shapes dangle from the wire. Be sure to squeeze the wire just above the shapes so they can’t slip off.

I hope enjoyed my tutorial and feel inspired to try it out yourself.

Happy Crafting,

Raquel

Glitter and Lace Birthday

January 11, 2015

ECDGlitteredLaceDragonflywm

Hi everyone,

It’s Frances here today with my first ECD blog post for the new year! Now that I don’t need to worry about making Christmas cards for a while, I figured it was time to build up my birthday card stash.

Today I am sharing a fun technique I used to do years ago which I was reminded about recently by Els. This technique uses Silk Microfine Glitter and lace. When looking for lace to use for this technique, don’t just look for the thinner laces which you might find with ribbons. Lace curtaining for example is great for this technique as well! I once found lace curtaining which had an owl on it and if you know me … that is important haha!

Here is how I created my card:

ECDGlitteredLaceDragonfly1wm

1. Cut a piece of white card which has Transparent Double Sided Tape Sheet adhered to the front of it so it measures 5 inches x 3 3/4 inches. I have selected a piece of floral lace curtaining and you will also need two contrasting colors of Silk Microfine Glitter. NOTE: in the photo above I show two different colored pink glitters, but the lighter pink wasn’t enough contrast for the look I wanted so I used Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter in its place.

ECDGlitteredLaceDragonfly2wm

2. Remove the protective backing from the adhesive paper which is adhered to your card and place the lace curtaining over the adhesive. Use a bone folder to smooth out the lace so it is attached to your card well. Make sure that there are no bumps so your glitter won’t go where you don’t want it.

ECDGlitteredLaceDragonfly3wm

3. Cover lace with Peony Pink Silk Microfine Glitter. Polish glitter with your finger and brush of excess. Return glitter back in the jar. Carefully remove the lace from your card, making sure you don’t touch the white areas on the card.

4. With the lace removed, add Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Tip: Only apply enough of the glitter to cover the card. You don’t want to put any excess glitter back in the jar as it might get contaminated with the dark glitter.

5. Layer glittered background onto a piece of white card which is 5 1/4 inches x 4 inches and then onto a folded pink card that is 5 1/2 inches x 4 1/4 inches when folded.

6. From white card, die cut a medium sized tag from the Tags die set.

7. Adhere a piece of ECD Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Tape 64mm to the back of a piece of pink card and use the Happy Birthday (783) die to die cut the sentiment. Attach sentiment to tag as shown in photo.

8. Use the Small Dragonfly die to die cut a solid dragonfly body from White Iridescent Shimmer Sheetz. Die cut dragonfly overlay from Gold Metallic Shimmer Sheetz and adhere to body. Adhere dragonfly over the hole on the tag. NOTE: if you apply ECD Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Tape to the back of the Shimmer Sheetz before die cutting, this makes it easier to assemble pieces.

9 Use double sided foam tape to attach tag to the lower right hand side of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Love is in the Air

January 8, 2015

Hello Crafty Friends!

Debra Hensley here today to say Happy 2015!! Its a new year and we have a brand New Release to share with you with full of amazing and versatile dies you are going to love! I’ll be using a few in my post today.

Believe it or not, Valentine’s Day is right around the corner so its never too early to start thinking of a special card for that special someone in your  life. The new Alphabet 1 – Caps was calling me to make a card with X’s and O’s on it. The new Victorian Flower Set 1 is the perfect embellishment.

ECD 2015 NR XO 1a P1070512

Here’s how I made this card:

1. Fold an 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of Kraft colored cardstock in half to form a standard A2 size card base. Ink edges with brown ink. Cut a piece of black cardstock to 4″ x 5 1/4″ and adhere to card front. Cut a piece of Kraft cardstock to 3 3/4″ x 5″.

2. Die cut 2 X’s and O’s in black from Alphabet 1 – Caps die. Die cut Love from black cardstock. Die cut various size hearts, some in black cardstock, a few in red and white cardstock with Transparent Double Sided Tape applied to it. Remove the release sheet of the tape on the red die cut hearts and glitter them with True Red Silk Microfine Glitter. Glitter the white hearts with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Die cut 2 smaller flowers from Victorian Flower Set 1 in Kraft and one small flower center in black.

ECD 2015 NR XO dies 1a P1070490

3. Emboss the 3 3/4″ x 5″ Kraft piece with Heart Strings Embossing Folder and then ink with brown ink, making sure to ink over the embossed pattern to bring it out. Die cut 2 smaller flowers from Victorian Flower Set 1. Stamp with a script stamp in black ink and ink edges with brown ink. Add Black/Silver Glitter Border to the edges and adhere to the card front.

ECD 2015 NR XO emboss 1a P1070492

4. Create the flower embellishment by stacking the 2 flowers with a piece of foam adhesive in between. To add dimension, take something rounded like a pencil, pen or in this case the end of a paint brush, and curve the top flower’s petals up. Using the rounded tool give you the curve with out making a crease in the middle for a softer more natural look. Adhere the black center and a small red glittered heart to complete.

ECD 2015 NR XO flower 1a P1070472

5. To assemble the card, add a 1 1/2″ x 4″ strip of pattern paper to the front. Ink edges with brown ink. Add X’s and O’s to pattern paper.  Add the Love die cut to a  2/3″ x 3″ strip of white with a “v” cut out of one end and adhere at the end of the pattern paper. Add flower where they meet. Add hearts and Black/Silver Glitter Dots to complete front. Here’s another view for placement:

ECD 2015 NR XO 2a P1070515

6. Decorate the inside as well with a black and red heart and 2 strips of Black/Silver Glitter Border for a finishing touch.

Meet the 2015 Karen Burniston Pop it Ups Designer Challenge Team

January 7, 2015

2015_Designer_Challenge_Team

Happy 2015!

I’m Karen Burniston and I’d like to introduce the 2015 Pop it Ups Designer Challenge Team. All ten of these talented ladies have been with me from the beginning of my journey with Elizabeth Craft Designs and I was thrilled that all ten wanted to stay on in 2015. I asked them each to tell me which Pop it Ups die they couldn’t live without. After much protesting that they couldn’t choose just one, (Shelly said it was like picking your favorite child. Caz said it was like deciding between chocolate or potato chips) they did come up with their go-to die. If you’re just getting started with Pop it Ups, perhaps you will find the recommendations of the team helpful when you’re deciding what to buy first. Their choices are some of the best generic and all-purpose dies in the collection.

Thanks to this team our CHA Booth #335 is going to be full of amazing Pop it Ups cards this weekend. You can preview the Pop it Ups release by watching this preview video:

I used the new Star Accordion (coming soon) to make the Designer Challenge Team showcase piece. To double the height of the Star Accordion album I first cut 5.5″ x 11″ strips of black cardstock, lined up the Star Accordion die near the top, and then stopped my cutting pad short of the bottom edge when I cut the top portion. Next I slid the album die down the page and stopped the cutting pad short of the top edge. This gave me a single album page with two stacked stars. I repeated this four more times to make the pages and then assembled like a normal Accordion. I used all three of the new Star Fancy Frame Edges (coming soon: star, flourish and stripes) plus the dots edge from the Fancy Seasons Frame Edges and the scalloped edge from the Fancy Frame Edges. The Star and Fancy Accordions are the same outer shape so frame edges can be shared between two albums. (The same for the Katie Label Accordion and the new Rectangle Accordion)

Glittered Thank You Card

January 5, 2015

Hello my crafty friends, it’s Raquel Mason here today. I was inspired by a card Rita Edwards made. She tore away pieces of the release sheet covering the Transparent Double Sided Adhesive Tape Sheet a little at a time so she could add Silk Microfine Glitter in sections one color at a time, creating soft (rather than cut) edges. Let’s get right into the glittery goodness!

ECD Torn Glitter

1.  Cut a piece of light tan cardstock at 4.25 x 5.5 for an A2 sized card base.

2.  Cut a piece of black cardstock at 4 x 5.25, adhere to card base. Apply Pink/Silver Glitter Border Lines around the perimeter of the black cardstock.

3.  Cut a piece of white cardstock and Transparent Double Sided Tape at 3.5 x 4.5. Adhere Transparent Double Sided Tape to the white cardstock.

4.  Tear a strip of the release sheet off one section a time, cover with Amethyst Silk Microfine Glitter, brush off excess and polish with your finger. Repeat this step with alternating colors until cardstock is entirely covered with Silk Microfine Glitter. Adhere to black cardstock.

5.  Using a scrap piece of vanilla cardstock, die cut Thank You. Adhere to lower left side of card.

6.  Cut a piece of white cardstock large enough to fit two Crystal Flower Peel-Offs and adhere Double Sided Transparent Tape to it. Remove peel-offs and place them sticky side up on the release sheet.  Place white cardstock with the Double Sided Transparent Tape sticky side down onto the release sheet to transfer the peel-offs. Remove release sheet and cover sticky tape and peel-offs with Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Polish with your finger and brush of excess glitter.

7.  Color Crystal Flower Peel-Offs with alchol based markers or desired medium then cut using Fine Pointed Scissors. Use foam tape to adhere flowers to card base. Use photos for placement.

8.   Cut a piece of Transfer Sheet large enough to cover image, lay Transfer Sheet onto negative image, burnish with a bone folder. Lift up Transfer Sheet, if all pieces have not been transferred burnish again. Place Transfer Sheet onto inside of card, burnish again, lift up Transfer Sheet, burnish again if all pieces have not been transferred. Click here to see Els demonstrate this technique.  I added the negative images to the envelope too.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial and feel inspired to try it out yourself.

Happy Crafting,

Raquel

Decorating for Winter

January 2, 2015

ECD_winter_Candy_Spiegel7

Hi, it’s Candy here! I am so happy to spend another year designing with Elizabeth Craft Designs!

When I pack away my holiday decor, my house feels a bit empty. This year I decided to decorate for winter, starting with this adorable banner. It only requires a few products to make and is a fun way to celebrate the season. Plus get extra use out of card-making supplies.

Here’s how I created the banner:

1. Cut six pieces of patterned paper 3 1/2 x 6″.

2. Line up the Tags & More 2 – Deco die at the top of the paper and run it through your die cutting machine. Tip: use a piece of washi tape (or painter’s tape) to hold the die in place.

3. Snip the edges off of each of the sheets of paper. Then use a paper trimmer to trim the sides.

4. Line up the Tags & More 2 decorative tag, secure with washi tape and run through your die cutting machine. Do this to 3 of the tags.

5. Match the decorative tags to the plain tags and adhere them together.

6. Score and fold each of the three tags 3/4″ from the bottom. Add a strip of Elizabeth Craft Designs Transparent Double Sided Tape to the bottom edge. Peel off release strip and fold. This creates a casing for the string.

7. Cut decorative corners and reinforcements and adhere to tags.

ECD_winter_Candy_Spiegel68. Adhere a piece of Elizabeth Craft Designs Transparent Double Sided Tape to a piece of white cardstock slightly larger than the snowman. Remove the release sheet and place it upside down in front of you. Place peel-off sticky side up on your release sheet, then place white cardstock with adhesive side facing down on top. Turn over, remove release sheet and cover adhesive with Cool Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter. Polish and brush of excess glitter. Color with alcohol markers. Fussy cut image and adhere to one of the tags.

ECD_winter_Candy_Spiegel79. Add sticker words to the other two tags.

10. Run twine or ribbon through casing on the back of the tags so they hang side by side. Tie a loop at each end. Hang and enjoy!
