Judi Kauffman shared a pair of CountryScapes Silhouette cards with a unique twist. Instead of realistic backgrounds, she brushed acrylic paint (turquoise and bronze) onto red cardstock, scratched the wet paint with a fingernail to create horizontal lines and grass-like vertical lines. Then she doodled with Sakura Gelly Roll White and Moonlight Red pens. Finally, she added the scenes – but as flat silhouettes, not with realistic dimension and detail. It’s all done with die cut Adhesive Velvet Sheets in Red, Black and Tan. Give it a try!

Cool cards! The backgrounds are awesome too.
Thank you all! I get such a kick out of the Critters. They are just charming, and the realistic details make them a lot of fun to use for projects.
