A Year of Seasons

June 13, 2015

Hello Everyone,

It is Jackeline back as a guest designer. The project I designed for today is looking to take you in a quick , but Magic trip from Spring, when the flowers bloom and the colors shine to the Winter, when the snowflakes fall.

Let’s get started:

1. Cut 4 pieces of white cardstock and 4 pieces of patterned paper 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″. Adhere the patterned paper pieces to the white cadstock. Place the tag top die from Tags & More 8 – Lattice at the top of one of the pieces and run it through your die cutting machine to create the tag shape. Repeat this process for all other pieces.

2.- . Apply Transparent Double-Sided Tape to white cardstock. Transfer the outline of Jackie’s Dolls in Oval peel-off to the adhesive side and, using the glitter coloring technique, add Warm Diamond Silk Microfine Glitter to peel-off and color. Watch Els demonstrate this technique HERE
.
3.- Embellish each tag using a variety of dies and peel off’s.
Summer Tag:
  • Die cut the sand in dark yellow cardstock using the beach edges.
  • Die cut 4 umbrellas, 2 in red cardstock and 2 in dark green cardstock.
  • Die cut the beach bucket in red cardstock and the shovel in green cardstock using the decorative pieces from The Palm tree & pail Die.
  • Using the glitter coloring technique, work in the sandals from the new peel off “Summer”.

4.- Apply a piece of Transparent Double-Sided Tape to shimmer gold large enough to die cut 4 circles to be used as reinforcement on the top part of each tag, and 6 hinges to connect the tags.
