Hello everyone,
It’s me, Petroschi Bianca.
I love the new Elizabeth Craft Designs products that will be presented at CHA Mega Show in January so much that I could not stay away, so I created a card dedicated to friendship. I already need a breath of refreshing spring air so I used dies and stamps that bring the spring closer, even if the thermometer still says it’s winter.
1.To make this card, you will need a a wider cutting and embossing a machine ,because the base card have 16 cm/32 cm ( folded in half) (6 19/64 inch by 1 ft 19/32 inch)or(6,29 /12.59 inches).I recommend you to use 250 GSM paper .
For the base card I have used the Big Shot Plus machine, with Tags & More 1 – Lace overlay die,and the second big circle from Fitted Circles die set.You must place the overlay die on each corner of the square symmetrically.
You have to run through the machine two overlapped papers and diecut it in the same time ( one of 16cm/32 cm,and a square one 16 cm/16cm) .After cutting, you stick these two together, with a sheet of vellum paper between them. You will see how beautiful the light goes through it.You can use either Clear Double Sided Adhesive Sheet ,before die cutting,or Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape of 3 mm (⅛ Inch),after die cutting. In this way,the card will look as beautiful on both sides.
2.In the middle of the card, I attached another circles,on both sides, die cutted with the fourth circle from Stiched Circles die set ( starting to count from the largest to smallest ).On the circle attached to the front of the card I’ve stamped and colored using Robin 1 – Flower Wreath rubber stamp, Ladybug Quartet and on the back I used Seeds of Thought Red Rubber Stamp – A Friend.Inside,I added two decorative borders of antique golden paper, diecut with dies from Chains 1 set.
3.I added two sprigs that embraces the circle, using a die from CountryScapes Flora 5 ( I placed the second twig backwards ),and ,in one corner of the card, where the twigs meet , I added flowers made with Garden Notes Zinnia die set.You can create this beautiful flower in several colors, using inks and sponge dauber.Normally, to create a flower ,is enough to use the petals die cut only once, but I preferred my flower to be with more petals ,so ,for each flower i diecutt twice .
4.After you have cut and colored the petals and leaves, do not forget to shape them ,using Susan’s Garden Club CountryScapes Tools.
5.I must admit that I have never seen quilling dies for flowers so small.I’m fallen in love with this die.
At the end ,I added the word Thanks ,diecutt in antique gold paper ,using A Way With Words, Thanks ,and I embellished the corners of my card with golden Peel-Off stickers.

I hope ,I have managed to convince you ,how wonderful are the new products.Have we aroused your creativity,my friends?
