January 27, 2017

Hello, my dear friends.

I am Pavitra here, and welcome to my first post. Before I start I would like to thank Elizabeth Craft Designs for including me in the team. I am super excited and totally loving the feeling of being here.

With the start of the new year Elizabeth Craft Designs brings in an amazing collection of dies and stamps that you will surely love so do check them out here.

Today I have an Easel card for you guys with a twist.  I adorned the card with one of my favorite dies from the new Susan’s Garden Club collection – GN Gerbera Daisy.

Have a look at my card.

The finished card measures 5 x 8

Let’s get started.

For the card base cut white card stock 12 x 5 , score at 3 , 3-1/2 , 8-1/2 , 9. Fold and open.

For the inside part cut  white card stock at –

 8 x 4-3/4 (front panel)

9 x 4-3/4 (base panel)

Score 9 x 4-3/4( base panel ) at 1 , 5 and fold. Apply Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape on outer side of both the ends. From the small side attach it to card base and attach front panel on the other side.

For the belly band cut white cardstock 12 x 2, score at 2 -7/8, 3-3/8, 8-5/8, 9-1/8. Fold and secure both the ends with clear double sided adhesive tape.

Mat with patterned paper leaving 1/4 inch border.

Die cut Dark Fuchsia Soft Finish Cardstock with second largest and smallest Stitched Ovals Die; mat on white cardstock.

Die cut White Soft Finish Cardstock with smallest stitched oval die; stamp the sentiment in the center. With Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape, attach to the card panel as shown.

Die cut Dark Fuchsia Soft Finish Cardstock with Tags & More 5 – Sunburst die; mat on white card stock.

Die cut fence pieces from Dark Chocolate Soft Finish Cardstock using die from CountryScapes Nantucket Arbor & Picket Fence set.

Die cut two small butterflies and one large butterfly from Bluebell Soft Finish Cardstock using Garden Notes – Bugs & Butterfly Die and GN Fairy – Tiger Lily Die.

Using die cut, color, and four daisies and cut lots of ivy vines using White Soft FInish Cardstock and the Garden Notes Ivy Vine and Garden Notes Gerbera Daisy dies. (Add Prills to daisy centers.)

Complete the card as shown, with one daisy on the tag and three on the card.

Add ribbon to the tag.

I do hope that you have enjoyed this tutorial and will make your own card using the instructions provided. For your craft supplies don’t forget to visit the Elizabeth Craft Designs store.
