A Birthday Card with ModaScrap

January 26, 2018

Hello everybody,

Emmy here with my very first post as a design team member for Elizabeth Craft Designs. Today, I would like to share an easy and elegant birthday card that can be for other occasions as well. I’ve created it using some of the wonderful ModaScrap products.

Here are the detailed step-by-step instructions on how to create this card:

Step 1: Cut a 15.5 x 17 cm panel out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. This will be the back of the card. Cut two 12 x 15.5 cm panels from White SFC and using the Romantic Bouquet die, cut the two front parts of the card. (Die cut one at a time.)

Step 2: Fold the two front panels at 2 cm from the even side and using the folded flap, adhere them to the card back panel cut in Step 1 using Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 3: Cut a 15 x 16.5 cm panel from blue cardstock and adhere it inside the card using the same tape.

Step 4: Cut a 14.5 x 16 cm panel from patterned paper, ink the edges and adhere it on top of the blue cardstock using foam tape.

Step 5: Die cut the sentiment from pink cardstock and adhere it toward the bottom right corner of the inside of the card using mini glue dots or small rolled-up pieces of Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 6: As a final, touch add sparkling epoxy dots to the front panels of the card and tie a large ribbon bow through the openings at the center of the two lacy panels close it.

Here are a few more close-ups of the finished card:

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed my first post!
