Make a Wish!

May 26, 2018

Shhhhh! It’s Suzanne here today with a Sneak Peek at my new release especially for you!

You can’t imagine how thrilled I am to be sharing this with you!  There are so many exciting new things coming and I know you’re going to love them!

Today I’m thrilled to share a first Sneak Peek with a project I created using the Make A Wish die set from my new collection of dies and stamps.  The collection will be available to view in its entirety on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog and web site on June 5. Not too long to wait!

This card is so easy and you can cut and assemble it quickly if you need!  Here is how you can do it.

Instructions:

Step 1 – Form a 6×6” tent-fold card base from dark purple cardstock.

Step 2 – From gold cardstock, die cut the Make a Wish sentiment (it’s all in one with words and flourishes connected) and the little stars from the Make a Wish set (the words and the stars are all included). Also from gold cardstock, die cut the largest star in the Stitched Stars die set.

Step 3 – Die cut the largest Fitted Star and one little star from dark purple cardstock. Die cut little star which fits in the middle of the design from any colour you wish – or leave it off! (If you add a little contrasting star it becomes the dot over the letter ‘i’.)

Step 4 – Adhere the little purple star on top of one of the slightly larger gold stars to add interest.

Step 5 – Assemble the card by layering as shown. Use foam tape behind the large gold star.

It’s that easy, and doesn’t it look fabulous!

What will you put inside?  Happy Birthday? Happy Anniversary?  Baby?! (Tell your mom the happy news she’s been waiting to hear! Stay tuned…we have more special things coming for that occasion!) We look forward to seeing how you use this die set.

Have patience, it’s not much longer before we can share all the new goodness!  We’ll share a few more peeks soon.

Happy creating, Suzanne

Great card, Suzanne. As always, elegant in its simplicity and looks like a lot of fun to make, too.
