Good morning all. Angela here as a guest designer. For today’s tutorial I have put together a fairly straightforward wedding card using Susan Tierney-Cockburn’s new Forget Me Not die set in keeping with the traditional “something blue” for the bride, along with several other of my favourite dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs.
Here’s how it came together:
Step 1 – Card base is a 12 inch x 6 inch piece of White Soft Finish cardstock folded to make a 6 inch x 6 inch card.
Step 2 – Cut a 5.75 inch x 5.75 inch piece of pretty (patterned) paper.
Step 3 – Cut a 5.75 inch x 5.75 inch piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock and from this cut the Flowers Lace Frame.
Step 4 – Cut “Always” from White Soft Finish cardstock that has been backed with Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Put them together as in the photo below.
Step 5 – Cut the leafy branch die twice from green paper. Shape using Susan’s tool kit.
Step 6 – Cut petals, centers and leaves from the new Forget Me Not die. Colour using Copic markers as shown or other coloring medium of choice. Shape using Susan’s tools.
Glue to card front with Kids Choice Glue.
Step 7 – Finish Forget Me Nots with black Prills, one per flower.
…And you’re done!
Hope you give it a try!
