Are you on board with using planners and journals? If so, this project has your name on it! It couldn’t be easier…Gather clear stamp sets by Suzanne Cannon – Months and numbers, your favorite quotes and sentiments, and create a coil-bound book for each month. Make them small enough to pop into a purse (shown: 4” x 6”) or whatever size you prefer!
I hope you’ll join me.
Instructions:
Step 1 – Smudge some inks with a craft sponge, then use ink in a contrasting color to stamp a pattern and the name of the month and the year on the front cover of a purchased coil-bound book that has enough pages for a page per day. Optional: Make a book for each month and bind them as you choose. No need to start with January!
Step 2 – Smudge some ink onto each page. With a contrasting color, stamp the day of the month (numbers), along with a bit of pattern in one corner that matches the pattern used on the cover. (Shown: Lower left.) Also stamp quotes and sentiments, along with small motifs like hearts, butterflies, and balloons.
Step 3 – Add touches of color with pencils, paints or markers and the book is ready to use! Use the books – don’t tuck them away…Write, glue in memorabilia, go for some art journaling…The key is to do something EVERY DAY.

Such pretty pages! Love how you did these!
These are wonderful pages Judi! They just make me smile!
Thank you! I agree that the pages have other possibilities…Postcards came to mind, but I like your idea about using the stamps for the interior of a folded card. I’m guilty of neglecting the inside of cards more often than not.
What a darling idea. Your pages would be cute card interiors, as well. I especially love the birthday page so looked at the stamp set. That b’daay set now has to go on my want list. So cute. Thanks, Judi.
