A Way With Words

Butterfly “Let your dreams soar”

September 15, 2018

Hello Crafty Friends!

Do you know what I like to do with Suzanne’s  A Way With Words collection?  Mixing and matching!  Last week I shared a project using a stamp and stencil.  This week’s project incorporates the lovely and inspirational ‘Soar’ quote stamp and the beautiful ‘Butterfly Flourish’.  Let’s flutter happily into the card instructions as they are super easy!

Card instructions:

Step 1 – Create top-fold 4.25 x 5.5″ top fold card base from light pink cardstock.  Set aside.

Step 2 – Cut patterned paper smaller than card front.  Use black archival ink to stamp quote.  Apply gold marker along all four edges.  Mount to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 3 – Die cut white cardstock using larger of the Butterfly Flourish dies.  (Optional: Flip flourish over.)  Mount to card front using liquid adhesive.

Step 4 – Die cut butterflies from coordinating pink patterned paper.  Mount bodies (not wings) to flourish.  Elevate wings of large detailed butterfly overlay by gently bending them upward.

Step 5 – Add small black half pearls to butterfly bodies as shown.

Step 6 – Decorate inside of card as desired.

You’ve just completed a simple card with stunning results!

What other A Way With Words combinations inspire you?  We would love to see them!  Feel free to share your projects on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Family Facebook page!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a happy, crafty day.

Big Hugs,

Kathy Jo

It won’t let me pass my payment because of the shipping rate. I never had this problem before when I have ordered.
