Pumpkin Bouquet

December 11, 2018

Hello, Christine here today with a card I have created using Susan’s Garden Notes French Pumpkin. It  makes such a great vessel for flowers.

Here is how to make your own version of my card:

Step 1  Die cut 2 Garden Notes Berry Spray from brown cardstock (1 with Clear Double Sided Adhesive on back and 1 without).  Adhere them together. Tip: Doubling the spray adds dimension and stability.  Add berries using Nuvo Crystal Drops (Autumn Red used here).  Set aside to dry then repeat on back side so berries will be round on both sides.

Step 2  Form 6″ x 6″ card base from cream cardstock.

Step 3  Die cut circle from White Soft Finish Cardstock using largest die from Stitched Circles.  Create background on this piece using colors of your choice (Distress Oxide Inks used here).  When background has dried, adhere to card front using Clear Double Sided Adhesive.

Step 4  From White Soft Finish Cardstock that has Clear Double Sided Adhesive on the back of one of the pieces, die cut 2 Garden Notes French Pumpkin and adhere one on top of other.  Using alcohol markers, color the pumpkin.

Step 5  Die cut 2 Garden Notes Helenium from White Soft Finish Cardstock; color with alcohol inks, shape and assemble.  Susan has a video on her Facebook page Susan’s Garden Club here.

Step 6  Die cut 1 Garden Notes Dahlia 2 from White Soft Finish Cardstock; color with alcohol markers, shape and build per the video here.

Step 7  Die cut Garden Notes Feverfew stem from green cardstock, flowers from White Soft Finish Cardstock and centers from yellow cardstock.  Shape and build flowers per the videohere.

Step 8  Die cut  4 Garden Notes Hosta Leaves from White Soft Finish Cardstock.  Color with alcohol markers and shape.

Step 9  Add pop dots to lower center on back of pumpkin adhere to card front.

Step 10  Build the bouquet using Kids Choice Glue to adhere berries, flowers and leaves.

I do hope my tutorial has inspired you to create your own card.  All of the Elizabeth Craft Designs supplies are linked to their site just click on any picture it will take you right there.
