Thank You Cards

December 26, 2018

Hi friends, it’s Sandy hoping that your holiday season is merry & bright.  Now that the big day has passed for another year it’s time to write those thank you notes.  I have a fun, fast and easy way to do that with just two dies and one stamp.

Let’s get started on this 6″ X  6″ card –

Step 1.  Cut solid color cardstock to 6″ X 12″; score at 6″, fold in half to create a square card base. (Shown: Lime green.)

Step 2.  Cut a contrasting 5.75″ square mat and adhere to card front. (Shown: Purple.)

Step 3.  Stamp the Circles Background onto White Soft Finish Cardstock using marker- or watercolor-compatible black ink.

Step 4.  Color stamped image using medium of choice. Tip: To save time, no need to color the areas that will be hidden by the die cut circle.

Step 5.  Trim stamped image to 5.5″ square and adhere to mat.

Step 6.  Using the Dashing Circles die set, cut one circle in the size that best fits the Thank You die.

Step 7.  Cut Thank You from fun foam or cardstock.  (Shown: Fun Foam was used for added dimension.) Tip: For ease and speed back foam with clear double sided adhesive prior to die cutting.

Step 8.  Adhere circle and words to the card front. You have plenty of space on the inside of the card for your thank you note and for more stamping, too..

So there you have it, didn’t I tell you it was easy?

Happy New Year to all of you and thanks for joining me today,

Sandy
