Sandy Diller here! I hope your new year is going well. It is always refreshing to think that we have a chance to start over and that’s what it’s all about with my project today. I have started collecting my Planner Essentials and decided to try something a little different using them. I made a 2019 calendar using the Planner Essentials as my starting point and went from there with products from my Elizabeth Craft Designs stash. I hope you enjoy what I’ve done.
Instead of using the planner itself I began by making my covers using a lightweight chipboard and then covering it with some awesome paper from ModaScrap. I adhered the paper using Clear Double sided adhesive. Using one of the planner pages dies as a template – I made the holes at the top to correspond with all the pages inside. The entire thing is held together by 6 rings.
Because chipboard was used for the covers – it stands up by itself and can be flipped from month to month.
I have linked all the products at the end so you can take a closer look.
This project was so much fun to make and I loved giving it away because I know the recipient will be enjoying it all year long.
What a fantastic idea! I love the calendar! Is there link for the months to print? Thank you for sharing your talent with us!!
