Karen here today from Craftily Yours! Are you still needing to make some last-minute holiday cards? Pull out those adorable critters designed by Joset! Add some holiday cheer and maybe just a smidge of glitter…..and voilà!
For this first card, I used the dog. I love putting together these fun little critters. It reminds me of making paper dolls. To see the video about assembly of the dog, check out the how-to on YouTube.
I added the tree from the Sleigh Dies and added some Forest Green Glitter and some Craft Drops in Metallic Silver, Metallic Gold, White and Pearl Olive. I finished off this card with a sentiment from the Cute Winter Sentiments Stamps that was die cut with a Stitched Circles die. The Kraft cardstock and patterned cardstock were die cut with the Fitted Rounded Rectangles dies, and the star is the smallest size in the Fitted Stars!
Here’s a close-up of the beautiful tree with the glitter on it.
Next up, I created a card with the super-adorable Koala.
He’s the cutest! Again, I used an element of another set. That adorable hat is from the Santa dies and is covered with True Red Glitter. The blue cardstock and patterned paper are again cut with the Fitted Rounded Rectangle dies, but this time, I chose to offset them. (I was having a hard time lining them off, so this is a trick so that I’m less frustrated!) The sentiment is again from the Cute Winter Sentiments and cut with the Stitched Circles. For more information about assembly of the Koala, check out the YouTube Video for it.
Here’s a close-up of the Koala.
Love these critters and love how the accessories for them can all be mixed and matched! Thanks for stopping by today!
