Hi there! Samantha here, sharing with you a card using Joset’s Koala die. Koala’s are one of my favourite animals, so I was very pleased to finally have a play, and even more surprised how quickly the idea came together!
Card Instructions:
Step 1: Using a variety of green cardstock die cut the small leaves.
Step 2: Using kraft card die cut the tree trunk, and adhere this to a light blue square card (measurements: 10cm x 10cm)
Step 3: Adhere the tiny leaves around the tree trunk.
Step 4: Continue adhering the leaves until most of the blue area is full.
Step 5: On blue cardstock (measuring: 10.5cm x 14.5cm) die cut a large circle. Then adhere this on top of your tree.
(Optional: Add machine stitched details)
Step 6: Using grey, white and black cardstock – die cut the Koala.
Step 7: Assemble and adhere the Koala to your card front.
Step 8: Stamp the sentiment on blue card. Trim. Adhere to card front.
Step 9: Adhere Clear Double Sided adhesive to white cardstock. Remove the release sheet to expose the adhesive layer and apply a generous amount of Silk Microfine Glitter (Green). Brush off excess glitter and return it to the jar, then polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle.
Repeat step 9 using Silk Microfine Glitter (Spring Peridot).
Step 10: Die cut the small hearts. Adhered this to the card front.
I love how framing the koala on a tree really makes him the feature on my card! He is rather adorable!
Happy Crafting!
Samantha
