Cardmaking Joset Designs Soft Finish Cardstock

Bunny Bottoms

March 9, 2020

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! Easter is April 12, just a wee bit over a month away….and Elizabeth Craft Designs has an absolutely adorable Bunny die that is perfect for Easter creations. Today, I used just the bunny bottoms part of the die! FuN!

To start this card, I cut a card base by cutting an 8-1/2″ x 11″ sheet of 90 lb Soft Finish Cardstock in half and then folding it in half. I also cut another sheet into four equal pieces of 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″.

I colored three of the pieces of Soft Finish Cardstock by putting Distress Oxide ink on my craft glass and adding water and smushing the ink around onto the paper. Then I used the following dies: Tumbled Glass piece cut with Stitched Rounded Rectangles die to create a card front, Mustard Seed piece cut Fitted Stars dies to cut out a couple star frames, and Mowed Lawn piece cut with Adventure Edges to get the grass.

Inside each of the stars, I layed up some grass for the bunnies to be diving into!

Then I cut the bunny bottoms from the fourth piece of Soft Finish Cardstock. I colored the bottoms of the paws with Copics E41 and R20. I added the little cotton poofs for the tails. (Hint: Add 101mm Double Sided Adhesive to the top piece of the paws before cutting to make assembly even easier!)

Finally, I added a sentiment cut from the Spring Sentiments with the Stitched Circles dies and put all the pieces together.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Craftily yours, Karen
