Cardmaking Planner Essentials Soft Finish Cardstock Stamping

Make A Wish!

March 23, 2020

Hello!!! Samantha here, sharing a fun, bright, birthday card. Maybe it is just me?…but I love that this card makes me think of candy –– a perfect card to gift to someone on their special day!

Card Instructions:

Step 1: Apply clear double sided adhesive to the back of coloured cardstock and pattern paper.

Step 2: Select one of the reinforcement dies – die cut the die using the pattern paper and cardstock.

Step 3: Make a template of the die using scrap paper.

Step 4: Using re-positional tape adhere the template to a white card front measuring: 10.5cm x 14.5cm

Step 5: Remove the backing tape from the die cuts and adhere these in the negative space of the template.

Step 6: Continue to adhere each die cut, completing each row – alternate colours. Remove the template then re position below the finished row.

Step 7: Repeat steps 5 and 6 until the card front is full.

Step 8: Use the birthday sentiments stamp and coordinating die to stamp the sentiment on pink cardstock using black ink. Adhere the sentiment to the card front.

Step 9: Embellish card front with a twine bow and sequins.

Small dies are probably one of my favourite craft items to play with – the best thing about these reinforcement dies is how much time I saved die-cutting rows of circles instead of individual circles. So…I had time to make a few more examples!

Hope you enjoyed my card tutorial today.

Happy Crafting!

Samantha
