Cardmaking Elizabeth Craft Designs General Planner Essentials Soft Finish Cardstock

Miss You.

April 23, 2020

Welcome to my April post! Samantha here and today I’m sharing a card using a crafty item I generally don’t use as much as I wish I could! STENCILS! … Hope you enjoy today’s card tutorial.

Card Instructions:

Step 1: Using Soft Finish Card Stock (Silver Grey) cut a card front measuring: 10.5cm x 14.5cm

Step 2: Position the stencil over the card front and secure with tape.

Step 3: Use a blending tool to blend ink onto the stencil through to the card front. Apply a generous amount.

Step 4: Use a new blending tool to blend a second ink colour onto the stencil. Apply a generous amount.

Step 5: Use a new blending tool to blend the final ink colour onto the stencil. Apply a generous amount.

Step 6: Adhere card front to an A6 card base.

Step 7: Take a piece of black cardstock and die cut the Labels 1 die. Using embossing ink stamp the sentiment – from General Sentiments clear stamp set then apply a generous amount of white embossing powder. Heat to set the embossing powder.

Step 8: Trim the sentiment and adhere using foam tape to the side of your card front.

Step 9: Embellish the card with clear sequins and a twine bow.

I’m loving this colour combination and love love love the new Elizabeth Craft Design stencils. I can’t wait to play with them all and try out some fun colour combinations!

Happy Crafting!

Samantha
