Cardmaking Charlene Stamps

Bloom

July 16, 2020

Hey Friends!  It’s EK Gorman and I am popping in with a brand new card design using designers Ilse and Charlene’s stamps.  I just adore the sweet innocence the new Floral Girls stamp set has, and love how perfectly it pares with the older A Field of Flowers stamp set.

IMG_0290Step One:  Trim a piece of 90lb Soft Finish Cardstock to 4.25×5.5 inches.  Using black alcohol ink ink stamp an image from the Floral Girls Stamp set.

IMG_0291Step Two:  Using the same ink, stamp floral images from the A Field of Flowers stamp set around the image of the girl.

IMG_0292Step Three:  Stamp the sentiment onto the cardstock using the same stamp set and ink.

IMG_0293Step Four:  Using alcohol ink color in the image.  I used copics.

IMG_0294Step Five:  Using the new Make Your Mark stencil, add stenciling to the cardstock using Distress Oxide.  I used Shabby Shutters.

IMG_0326Step Six:  Using 10mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive, adhere the trimmed stamped and colored cardstock to an A2 card frame.

Thanks for peeking in today to this simple but elegant card design.  Do you like coloring floral images as much as I do?  Let us know in the comments below.  Until then, happy crafting.
