Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Lately I have been combining Joset Designs with Art Journal Product. I absolutely love that the Art Journal Dies and Stamps can be used on Cards and Scrapbooking. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 11” x 4 1/4”, score at 5 1/2” and fold in half for a horizontal top fold card. (A2)
Step 2 – Trim Red Cardstock to 5 1/2” x 4 1/4”. Place the circle stencil from the Pattern Stencil Pack on top of the Cardstock. Apply Texture Paste over the stencil using a spatula. Remove the stencil and let dry. Repeat this step to the other half of the panel. Let dry. Adhere the panel to the card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Step 3 – Trim Red Cardstock to 4 1/2” x 3 1/4”. Apply Distress Ink Aged Mahogany to the edges. Adhere to card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Step 4 – Diecut Create A Wreath using Green and Brown Cardstock. For added interest apply Craft Drops Metallic Gold to the Green foliage and Craft Drops White, Pearl Rose and Metallic Gold to the berries. Let Dry. Adhere to top of card using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 5 – Diecut Jack Frost and Winter Accessories (hat) in various colors of Cardstock. Assemble and adhere to card front using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 6 – Diecut Holiday Elf – Hers using various colors of Cardstock. Assemble and adhere to card front using Kids Choice Glue.
Step 7 – Stamp Joyful Wishes Sentiment (Winter Wishes & Snowflake Kisses) to the inside of the card using Versafine Onyx Black Ink. (Normally I add the sentiment to the front but I didn’t want to cover the scene I created.)
I absolutely love the snow texture scene I created using the Pattern Stencil Pack and I will be using them more to create backgrounds for my cards. Below you will find a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting! My next post will be in January so I want to wish you all Happy Holidays!!!
