Hi everyone, it’s Tina here. Today’s card is using the Small Cupcakes dies and the Birthday Stamp Set. They pair together like it was meant to be. Below you will find the steps to create your own card.
Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 7” x 6”, score at 3 1/2” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (Mini Slimline)
Step 2 – Create a DIY background using a Gel Press trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 3 1/2” x 6”. Apply Distress Oxide Inks in Victorian Velvet and Wilted Violet onto a Gel Press. Mix the colors with a brayer. Splash some water with a Distress Sprayer. Place the Cardstock onto the Gel Press then place a copy paper and add pressure to make sure the ink transfers onto the Cardstock. Remove Cardstock and let dry. Adhere to card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.
Step 3 – Stamp Birthday sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black Ink.
Step 4 – Diecut Small Cupcakes using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Apply Distress Oxide Ink using a Blender Brush. Wilted Violet for the base, Victorian Velvet for the middle layer and a grey alcohol marker to the top layer. Color in all the accents and assemble using Kids Choice Glue.
