Hello, Welcome! Samantha here today sharing a turtle-y fun card full of hidden glittery layers that really make this card pop! Enjoy the todays tutorial!
Card Instructions:
Step 1: Place the stencil on an A6 white card front (card measurements: 10.5cm x 14.5cm) and apply blue ink using a blending tool.
Step 2: Mix together transparent craft drops and silk mircrofine glitter – cool diamond to create a paste.
Step 3: Reapply the stencil over the ink and apply the paste. Remove the stencil and allow the paste to dry.
Step 4: Use different coloured green cardstock to die cut the turtle die.
Step 5: Use a green pencil to add hand drawn details to the turtle.
Step 6: Use pink cardstock to die cut the bow and add white hand drawn pencil details.
Step 7: Adhere Clear Double Sided adhesive to green cardstock. Remove the release sheet to expose the adhesive layer and apply a generous amount of Silk Microfine Glitter (Cool Diamond). Brush off excess glitter and return it to the jar, then polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle.
Step 8: Die cut the turtle shell detail.
Step 9: Use foam tape to adhere the shell detail onto the turtle.
Step 10: Stamp the sentiment onto blue card stock.
Step 9: Assemble the card front. Adhere the turtle and sentiment to the card front. Embellish with a twine bow, hearts and sequins. Adhere a googly eye to the turtle.
Happy Crafting! The photos don’t do this card justice – the cool diamond glitter really adds interest to this card!
