Let’s Do This Planner Insert

May 9, 2021

Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Let’s Do This Planner Insert.

To create my Let’s Do This Planner Insert, I’ve used a variety of the dies from the Sidekick Essentials and Planner Essentials Collection. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my planner insert at home.

Step One. To start, choose a piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. From the Sidekick Essentials 11 – This Week Fold Out Page, you’ll need the ticket die. Die cut the ticket die out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the patterned paper using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Two. Choose another piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. From the Sidekick Essentials 11 – This Week Fold Out Page, you’ll need the rectangle. Die cut the rectangle out of the patterned paper. Ink the edges of the rectangle using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Three. Choose a third piece of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. From the Sidekick Essentials 11 – This Week Fold Out Page, you’ll need the circle. Die cut the circle out of the patterned paper. Cut the circle in half. Ink the edges of both halves using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Four. Choose two more patterned papers out of the Reminiscence the Book. From the Planner Essentials 29 – Directions die, choose two arrows. Die cut the one of the arrows out of one of the patterned papers. Die cut the other arrow out of the other patterned paper. Ink the edges of the arrows using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Five. Next, you’ll ned the cut apart paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. Cut the Date rectangle, the flower polaroid and cut out the Let’s Do This Words. Ink the edges of the date rectangle, polaroid and words using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Six. From the Planner Essentials – Reinforcement Variety Pack 2, choose one of the reinforcements. Die cut the reinforcements twice out of a piece of kraft cardstock. You’ll need a total of 8 reinforcements. Ink the edges of the reinforcements using Walnut Stain Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.

Step Seven. Adhere the four of the reinforcements on the left hand side of the ticket, in order so that they line up with your planner. Flip the ticket over and adhere the remaining four reinforcements overtop of the already adhered reinforcements.

Step Eight. Foam square the rectangle 1/8″ from the right and 1/4″ from the bottom of the ticket. Adhere one half of the circle to the top left side of the rectangle as desired. Adhere one of the arrows to the top of the rectangle as desired.

Step Nine. Adhere the date rectangle 1/4″ from the right and 1″ from the top of the ticket. Adhere the remaining circle half to the bottom right hand side of the date rectangle as desired.

Step Ten. Adhere the polaroid frame 3/8″ from the right and 1 3/8″ from the top of the ticket. Adhere one of the arrows to the bottom portion of the polaroid as desired.

Step Eleven. To finish the insert, foam square the Let’s Do This words to the right hand side of the polaroid as desired.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my Let’s Do This Planner Insert at home.

Katelyn
