It’s Tanja here and today I would like to show you how to create this sweet card in a step-by-step tutorial:
Step 1: Die-Cutting
- die cut all the elements for the girl with a sunflower from white Soft Finish Cardstock using the Farmer, Holiday Elf His and Hers and the Farm Accessories sets
Step 2: Add Color
- use Alcohol Markers to add color to the die cuts and add extra shading with Distress Ink (Scatterd Straw, Brushed Corduroy, Tattered Rose)
Step 3: Creating the Background
- use patterned paper and the Adventure Edges 2 die set to create the background elements
- stamp the sentiment from the Life is better on the Farm set with Versamark onto a strip of kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with Wow! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
- add some faux stitching around the sentiment strip with a white gel pen
