Hay there! Jackie here with my first ever blog post eek!
I am sharing this simple colourful rainbow inspired card using the cutest dies ever, Joset’s die’s are so much fun to play with too.. like little paper crafting jigsaws.
Step one
Create the rainbow background using distress ink cubes. Swoosh the ink in a rainbow pattern onto a craft mat then spritz with water before placing a piece of soft finish cardstock into the ink, push down lightly then carefully lift off and set aside to dry.
Step two
Cover the entire front of a 5.25″x5.25″ card blank with black paper. Die cut the rainbow panel using the largest die from the fitted rounded squares set and fix onto the card front using 3d foam pads.
Step three
Die cut all the cow pieces using white soft finish cardstock then colour the relevant pieces using the same distress ink cubes before attaching all the bits together. Fix the cow in place using more 3d foam squares.
Step four
Finish off with a stamped sentiment and a sprinkling of sequins.
I hope you feel inspired to have a go at this colourful design.
Happy crafting Jackie
