The new Elizabeth Craft Designs release from both Esther and Joset are so much fun that they invite for more than just planner pages or cards. I made this “scarry house” into a list to give it a cozy place in the house during the Halloween period.
So I started working with all kinds of dies, ink, embossing powders, gilding wax, glossy accents and embossing plates. I walked around with very dirty fingers for 2 days but the result is there.
Look at that scarecrow. It would even scare me!
And the hayloft, I wouldn’t like to spend the night there either.
The hay wagon is full of pumpkins but has also been left like this, it will not be the farmer in the hayloft????
Even the farm, by day he looks so friendly but by night, brrrrr
There she goes, the witch, on her broomstick and accompanied by bats.
Everything in a nice frame that I first embossed with a very old embossing stencil.
This is the background made with Elizabeth Craft Designs Soft Finish Cardstock and all kinds of inks, sprays and water. I personally think it turned out to be a very nice project. I love doing this so much, playing with everything I have and then more and more ideas and things come up. Secretly I can go on with this project for hours but my art teacher once said that you have to stop on time. It may not be a drawing but I took that advice to heart, enough is enough.
I hope you also get a bit inspired and see what else is possible with all these beautiful dies and stamps from Joset and Ester’s collections.
