Let it snow!

December 23, 2021

Hello snowman, how are you today?

Today I want to show you this planner page. For this page I made another galaxy background. This page matches my previous page. I combined the Mason Jar with a galaxy background. I love making these background. It’s so cool to see how you can make such a cool background.

This time I combined two planner pages. The super cool Tree page (1677 – Planner Essential 16) and a base page (1803 – Planner Essential 28). I think this basic page is so cool because it has an edited edge. I completely edited the base page with the distress ink to make the galaxy background. First you apply the basic colors (seedles preserves, picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, peacock feathers). Then apply the Chipped Sapphire color over the entire page. And finally apply Black Soot on the edges and a little bit on the side of the page.

Then splash some water and dab with a cloth. Finally, dilute some with paint with water and splash is all over. Your background is ready now!

Then I colored the tree page (1677). For this I used the colour Rustic Wilderness. This is my favorite colour for trees. With this page I also dilute some white paint with water and splash it over the tree. Now it looks like snow!

But what is a Christmas tree without light? So I cut and colored a lot of lights. For this I used the lights that come with the new die of the train wagons (1924). I colored all the little lights with different colours of distress ink. (villainous potion, fossilezed amber, crackling campfire, blueprint sketsch)

For this page I want to use the cute snowman. And with a snowman comes snow of course. At the bottom of this page I have therefore creates snow with texture paste. I applied this with a spatula.

And finally the super cute snowman! Oh how I love all the cute characters!! I can really enjoy this to work with the figures!

I hope you enjoy this blogpost. See you next time!!
