Merry Christmas All

December 25, 2021

Merry Christmas everyone!! Jackie here today – I hope you are all enjoying the festivities.

I know its a bit late to want to recreate this Festive Christmas girl however she could easily be changed to suit birthdays and other occasions by switching the colours and removing the hat.

Step One:

Start by stamping out the sentiment towards the bottom left of a 5.25″ x 5.25″ top folding card blank. Next draw a curly line all around the edge.

Step Two:

Using the fairy lights die from the Train Carts die set 1924.

Die cut a few of the strung lights into black cardstock and cut the bulbs apart discarding the in between string, next die cut again into glitter card or paper but this time using just the bulbs. Carefully glue the glitter bulbs on top of the black bulbs. – silk microfine glitter can be used instead which I will link below.

Step Three:

Build the festive Christmas girl using the Witch die set 1906 with a few alterations – there are added pieces from the Winter Accessories die set 1829, all the pieces you need are laid out below however the belt will have to be cut down slightly to fit the waist. The fur trims have been cut from white felt backed with double sided sheet and thin card for added stability.

Step Four:

Glue the bulbs all the way around the drawn string leaving approximately 1cm between each bulb. Add a couple of details to the girl like black eye lashes and stripy socks then add white dots to the eyes before fixing the girl in place using 3d foam pads

This little Festive party girl would look fabulous in all sorts of colourful outfits and the fur trim could be switched for a glittery trim. The possibilities are endless! Thank you for stopping by and I hope I have inspired you to have a go at creating a party girl or two.

Products used I have added the silk microfine glitter as an option.
