Happy Birthday!

January 6, 2022

Today I want to show you this cool planner page. This time I started working with the Candle Page (1912).

December 22 our youngest son turned 7 years old. For him I made this planner page. The Candle Page is perfect for this. You don’t necessarily have to use it as a Christmas page. It is also perfect as a Birthday page. Behind the candle page I used a base page. (1606)

For this page I used the great paper from ModaScrap. I think this is super cool to combine with the figures of Joset. The paperpad that I used is Colors of Puppies Boy.

I edited the flame of the candles with distress ink. I used the following colors for this: Vintage Photo, Fossilezed Amber, Spiced Marmelade and Fired Brick.

Next to the candles I used the lion die (1617) from Joset. It fits perfectly with the theme of the paper. I colored the lion with distress ink (Antique Linnen, Fossilized Amber, Rusty Hinge and Black Soot).

Because it’s a birthday page, a party hat should not be missing of course. For this I used the hat of the Gnomes (1922)

I added a text at the top of the page. For this I used the blackboard numbers and the alphabet. Bring theme on color with distress ink (Evergreen Bough and Mowed Lawn)

On the left I used a planner sleeve. Because the photo’s were not exactly tailored to the pockets, I also made these on a background of design paper. This wil return the paper from the right page to the left page. To make it complete I finished the pages with the same reinforcements.

Hopefully I was able to inspire you again and give you new ideas to get started yourself. See you next time!

Lovely greetings Alice
