Cardmaking Joset Designs

Happy Barkday

February 7, 2022

Hello everyone, Alice here. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I want to show you this cheerful card I created using the Dog die set from Joset and some other fun dies. I decided to use some bright colors for this card. Let me show you how I got started!

First I colored the dogs using Distress ink. I made a Dalmatian out of the dog on the left. How cute is he with his black spots? I made the other dog brown with Distress ink Vintage Photo. We have 2 small dogs of our own. They are always happy so that’s why I picked some cheerful colors for this card.

In the background I used paper from ModaScrap – Color of Puppies Girl. I like ModaScrap paper pads. The patterns and colors make me happy.

The sizes of the cardstock are: white 21 x 10 cm, green 20.5 x 9.5 cm and the dots paper 20 x 9 cm.

After that I cut 2 purple squares with die 1256 – Postage stamp squares. Love the shape of this die. In the middle of the 2 purple squares I made 2 slightly smaller squares with design paper.

In the middle of these squares I adhered the 2 dogs. Above the dogs I made balloons. I made these from the Lollypop die (1180). They all got a string too.

In the middle I added a nice sentiment using the stamp set Furrever Friends (CS138).

This is my creation again for today. I hope I was able to inspire you again. See you next time!
