Fun Sidekick memory page with…a cow!

Hello everybody and welcome. Today it is my turn to make a blog and, boy did I have fun making this. The project I am doing today is a page in a Planner Essentials Sidekick planner that is near to my heart. Last year I went on a special trip with my mum to Austria and in this memory planner I am documenting this trip. The running theme throughout this fun book will be de critters from Joset. And today the cute cow will do the honours.

I started of by colouring a piece of the soft finish card stock with Distress oxide black sooth. I used that to die cut out some of the elements of the cow and the photo frame

all the other elements were cut out of the plain white paper and I collared these using a finger dauber and Distress ink in Tea dye and Tattered rose.

a quick tip: if you have tiny little pieces, stick them to the sticky part of a post it note. You won’t lose them and they are easy to color that way.

After cutting out the photo frame I splattered som water droplets to create spots on the black.

the branch and flowers from the Cherry Blossom branch were also cut out of the soft finish card stock and collared with the same colours as the cow.

Thank it is time to assemble the page. I started with edging the page and the text banner with Distress tea dye. This will tie everything inn together. Using my liquid glue I build up the page.

And here is the final result. I love how this cute cow keeps the real cow company!
