Last Saturday it was my father's birthday. He turned 60. I usually make something fun. This time I started working with the new suitcase kit.
I made a photo book of this with different photos. I also used various nice dies from Joset.
I die cut the front page from denim. For reinforcement I used double sided adhesive behind it. I used design paper for the back of it. I die cut the suitcase strap out of cork. I used double design paper for all pages because the design paper was only printed single. It is also a bit firmer. On the next page I used a photo of my parents together. On the right I used Joset's whale. The whole book is in the sea/water theme. This is because my parents have their own boat and are very fond of it.
On the next page I added two photos of my parents boat and decorated the pages with some fun dies from Esther's nautical theme collection.
The next page shows 2 pictures of their birds. The bird on the right they have had for several years. The bird on the left is a birthday present. I used the nice parrot from Joset and made it in the colors of the real parrot.
On this page that follows are the 3 grandchildren (our own kids), they all 3 have a life jacket on because they can sail on the boat with their grandparents. These pages are also decorated with different dies from the kit and from the planner collection.
On the last page I added another photo from the grandchildren and on the left the super cute octopus from Joset. This could not be missed in this booklet as he is my favorite from the sea collection. He is so very cute!
To make the booklet complete, I decorated the back in the same style as the front with the suitcase made of denim and cork.
All pages are finished with reinforcers. These are also included in the suitcase kit. This was my project for today. I hope I was able to inspire you again. The suitcase kit is really very cool! Greetings, Alice Elizabeth Craft Designs Supplies:
