Hello everyone. Jackie here with today’s blog post. I have made a snowy mountain scene with the cream top part of the Warm Winter Mug set 1996 complete with marshmallow boulders, I do love to play around with the dies. Before we start, whilst making this card I changed the way I added the sentiment so a couple of the photos will not show the sentiment on.
Step One:
Ink Blend the front of an A6 Europe or A2 U.S top folding card blank. Here I used Blueprint Sketch, Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry.
Step Two:
Create two snowbanks from white card, trim a panel to fit the card front then fussy cut a curvy edge to both pieces. Heat emboss the sentiment onto the front snowbank then attach both panels using foam pads.
Step Three:
Die cut three mountains and three mountain peaks. Ink the top of the mountain peak with a little of the Picked Raspberry ink then adhere them in place between the snowbanks.
Step Four:
Add three die cut snowflakes. I have chosen to hang them over the edges, but you could add them wherever you wish.
Step Five:
Finish off by adding the marshmallow boulders and sequins and gems.
I hope you enjoyed todays blog and have been inspired to look at your dies in a different way.
until next time, happy crafting – Jackie xx
