Happy New Year

January 1, 2023

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you all.. Jackie here with my first blog post for 2023. Although this is a New Year celebration card this could easily be switched up for many other celebrations.

Step One:

Start by stamping out the background directly onto the card blank. Here I have used a white card blank measuring approximately 5.8″ x 5.8″ square. Use a selection of small stamps to create the fun background.

Step Two:

Die cut a scalloped edged frame using dies from the Pizza Box 1781 die set, lay the two dies together and secure in place with washi tape as shown in the photo. Die cut three times into black card, black fun foam and silver glitter card then glue all three together sandwiching the fun foam in the middle.

Step Three:

Cut a piece of vellum to fit the frame then fix to the reverse side with glue.

Step Four:

Fix the prepared vellum frame to the card front with more glue.

Step Five:

Die cut and build three gnomes using the Gnome 1922 die set, I have used plain and glitter card stocks here but use whatever you fancy. Use the present shaped die from the set to create the chalk board signs then hand write the sentiment with a white gel pen.

Step Six:

Fix all the gnomes to the card front using 3d foam pads.

Thank you for popping by today and I wish you all a very Happy crafty 2023!
