Joset Designs

Baked with love

January 9, 2023

Hello everyone, Jackie here today. With valentines day just around the corner we need to think about making a few love related designs. Here I have used the very adorable aga/cooker form Joset to create this cute valentines card with hidden message, I think this card would also work well as a planner page.

Step One:

Cover the entire front of an A2 card blank with dark pink card, trim a panel to fit the front at approximately 5.25 x 4″ and gently ink around the edge with light pink ink then glue the panel in place.

Step Two:

Die cut the cooker front. Trim off all the doors at the hinges then glue a piece of light pink card behind, stamp the words in to each door opening then die cut and glue the other cooker front on top ensuring not to glue at the door openings.

Step Three:

Die cut the splash back and ink around the edge with light pink ink then attach a tiny heart to alternate tiles, you will not need to fix any hearts to the middle section as this will be covered. Add all the other finishing touches to the cooker.

Step Four:

Attach some thin strips of 3d foam tape on the reverse side of the cooker base as shown in the photo. Cut a piece of white card to fit in side the back, ink around the edge again with the light pink ink then stamp out the sentiment and attach a die cut cake to the very top. (layer the cake up with a few die cuts to add stability) you can hand write the word pull onto the cake.

This cooker design could easily be used for any occasion with any number of different sentiments added.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope I have inspired you to make a few love designs either cards or planner pages. Happy crafting Jackie x

WOW, Great use of those openings to use for that cute sentiment. All kinds of things to open and the PULL is perfect for the “Love You Forever” message.
