February 13, 2023

Hello crafty friends, it’s Summer Hills-Painter here. I wanted to share an easy Valentines day card for those who may need an quick masculine card.

adhere a piece of cardstock to Double Sided Adhesive (DSA)

Remove the backing sheet from the cardstock and adhere a piece of foil to the cardstock

Using an alcohol marker such as Copic or Sharpie, add in to the foil side of the cardstock. Line up two hearts from the Fitted Hearts die and die cut into the foil. Also, using the rivets from Planner Essentials 48 and cut the rivets from the inked foil

Adhere the rivets to the heart frame created in the previous step

Using rubbing alcohol or blending solution, add to a blending foam and dab onto the heart. Continue until the desired effect is a achieved

Using rectangles from the Fitted Rectangles cut a piece of patterned cardstock from the Fabrick paper collection. Using the Stitched Rectangles, cut a piece of coordinating cardstock. Using the smaller heart that we used in the creating foil heart, cut a heart from coordinating cardstock.

Using the Love Sentiments stamp set, stamp Happy Valentines Day to the heart. Optionally, you can ink the edges if the heart

Adhere the foil heart frame to the pattered cardstock. Insert the stamped heart into the center of the foil heart

Adhere the pattern cardstock to the rectangle cut from the Stitched Rectangle. Adhere the card front to the card base. For my card, I added some inking to the base to continue with a distressed look.
