Hi Everyone, Els Schutte here today. It’s March so time for another blog post.
This time I made a Welcome Home card using the beautiful Florals 9 and 14. I hope It will inspire you to make a card like this for a friend or new neighbor!
Below you will find the step by step instructions. Have fun creating this card.
I took the page with the text on it, cut it at 8 1/2″ x 11″ and printed this image on it. I also found some nice images in the paper pad and cut them out! ( see image)
Take a base card of 11″ x 7 1/2″ and fold it in half. Now your base card is 5 1/2″ x 7 1/2″. Put some foam dots on the back and glue the big image on the base card. Then glue all the other parts behind it.
Cut some flowers and leaves using Florals 9 and 14. I die cut 3 big, 3 small and 3 center pieces for 1 flower and 4 leaves.
Cut 13 of the Florals 9 flower and color them in the color you like.
Color all other flowers in the color you like and shape them. Once shaped, glue them together.
Make a nice composition on your card with the flowers you made. Stamp also the key with Versamark and put gold embossing powder on it and melt it with the heat tool.
And now your card is ready! I hope you like this card and that you will give it a try. Without the key you can use it also for Birthdays and other occasions.

Wow, Els, this is beautiful. The many elements all go together perfectly.
I love how you shaped those 4 petal flowers, I’ll have to try that. Also like the nuvo drops in the background, almost looks like little sprigs. So very pretty😍, thanks for sharing.
Just beautiful. Your flowers are gorgeous and fits the image on the card panel. Just lovely.
