Sentiments for Today

April 22, 2020

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! Today, I was inspired by sentiments, sentiments that I thought fit the time we are living in very well. The sentiments, of course, go very well with the amazing characters designed by Joset! I plan to send these cards out to friends who need or deserve some mail cheer!

After picking my sentiments from some of the amazing sentiment stamps at Elizabeth Craft Designs. I picked some characters to go with them.

These are the Owl, Parrot and Monkey dies. I colored the Owl with Tea Dye Distress Ink, and Copics C7 and YR61 (eyes), YR14 (feet and nose). The Parrot is colored with Copic markers YG03, YG06, G12, G14, and YR14. The monkey is colored with E25, E27, E41, E42 with a Y13, Y18 banana! BTW, I got my tweezers in the picture inadvertently, but it’s a good time to mention that those tweezers are AMAZING.

I used the Stitched Circles and Fitted Circle Dies (that go so beautifully together) along with the Stitched Rectangle Die for the card front. The sentiment is from the Zen Sentiments collection. I added a few White Craft Drops for accent.

Eek! Go wild! This fun sentiment is from the Safari Sayings Sentiment Stamps. I used the Stitched and Fitted Rounded Rectangles and, again, the Stitched Rectangle for the front of the card. I highlighted the fun sentiment with Pearl Olive Craft Drops.

Love this sentiment that is also from Safari Sayings. Hard to even see without the song going through my head! In this card, I used the Fitted and Stitched Rounded Squares and some Transparent Crystal Craft Drops.

Hope you are all staying well. Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Craftily yours, Karen
