Joset Designs Soft Finish Cardstock

A Happy Easter card with Joset Designs

March 30, 2018

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today with my monthly inspiration post. And since Easter is only a few days away, I’ve decided to create an Easter card using the wonderful dies from Joset Designs.

Here are the step-by-step instructions on how to create this card:

Step 1: Cut a 6 x 12″ panel out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Score and fold in half to form the card base. Cut a slightly smaller panel from patterned paper and adhere it on top of the card base using mounting foam tape.

Step 2: Using Stitched Squares dies (the second and the forth largest in the set) cut the ‘frame’ from pinkish pattern paper. (By carefully centering the smaller die inside the larger one there is a dotted edge at the outside and a clean edge along opening.)

Step 3: Using the Bunny die set,cut the bunny from White Soft Finish Cardstock and pink patterned paper.

Step 4: Using the Spring Basket die set, cut the brown basket and the Easter eggs from patterned paper and the grass from celadon green cardstock. Adhere the elements as shown in the photo below and in the main project photo using foam tape for dimension between the layers.

Step 5: For the sentiment, die cut the tag from patterned paper using the smallest die from the Dashing Rectangles die set. Adhere the tag so it is tucked slightly behind the basket and over the pink frame. Die cut the words using the Happy Holidays die set. Adhere the words as shown, overlapping a blade or two of the grass.
