Krista Schneider Soft Finish Cardstock

Any Occasion Card with Dashing Circles Dies

February 15, 2018

Hello everybody!

Emmy here today with my monthly inspiration post. This time I’ve decided to create a circle card using the Dashing Circles die set.

Here are the detailed step-by-step instructions on how to create this card:

Step 1: Cut a 6 x 12″ panel out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Score and fold it in half. Die cut the card base using the largest circle from the die set. Be careful to leave an un-cut fold at the top by positioning the folded edge of the cardstock INSIDE the die when cutting. see the picture below.

Step 2: Cut two 6 x 6″ panels out of White Soft Finish Cardstock. Cover the larger panel with Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape and die cut using the second larger circle from the die set. Remove the protective sheet and cover the white circle with Microfine Glitter. Brush off the excess glitter, polish with a fingertip to bring out the maximum sparkle, and adhere the shimmering circle to the card base using foam tape.

Step 3: Stamp the background stamp design on the second panel with black ink and colour the image using Distress markers. Using the third largest circle from the die set, die cut the front panel of the card – see the image below. Add a ribbon bow and adhere the panel to the card base using foam tape.

Step 4: Stamp the background image on a separate piece of cardstock and colour the elements you want to make 3D – for example, the bird. Fussy cut these elements and adhere them on top of the matching flat stamped areas with foam tape.

Step 5: Add rhinestones and glitter glue to finish the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I managed to inspire you!
