Good morning! I am excited to share my next layout I created using lots of goodies from Elizabeth Craft Designs!
To create this layout:
Step 1 – Cover both sides of a 12×12 paper with clear gesso (I used a piece from the Summer Art Collection) Step 2 – Ink through a stencil (I used the Story telling stencil) then heat emboss
Step 3 – use another stencil and paint in the same area as the first stencil (I used a stencil from the Summer Journal Special)
Step 4 – Use light mat gel and another stencil and while the gel is still wet apply some silk microfine glitter (I used the Make Your Mark Stencil and Midnight Blue glitter) Step 5 – die cut, ink and assemble 15 flowers ( I used the Florals 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9)
Step 6 – use some craft drops on a chipboard title (I used gold) Step 7 – assemble as shown and add some art stones, seed beads and gems
Good morning! I just adore these new flower dies – they are full and fabulous and very versatile! I decided to create a beach layout of our boys when they were younger as I am longing for some warmer weather!
To create this layout: Step 1 – Take your favorite ECD paper – I used a sheet from the Worn Wood paper pack – and cover both sides with clear gesso and heat set or allow to dry Step 2 – Use texture paste and your favorite ECD stencil along the right side of your layout – I used a stencil from the Summer Journal Special Step 3 – Die cut, ink and assemble 17 flowers – I used the new flower dies that will be available soon! They are so awesome!
Step 4 – die cut, ink and assemble as many branches/stems/leaves as you wish
Step 5 – stamp the title – I used the pieces of life stamp
Step 6 – Add seed beads and art stones and assemble as shown!
Whether you love snow or not, you can’t but love its magical properties! Hi Artlets, it’s Suzanne here today with a scrapbook page layout celebrating winter snow. We don’t get a lot of snow on Vancouver Island at sea level, so sometimes we go to the mountains looking for it! This page was an early winter day at Forbidden Plateau and it was so fun! Now if we had this every day, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be so charming, but this day was totally awesome!
Here is how you can assemble this layout and add your own photos. Let’s get started.
Instructions:
Choose 2 photos for your project. That’s fun! Trim them to fit inside the frames. You can see that I just had the rectangular lake photo loosely placed inside the frame and the people photo was cut to fit perfectly inside the ornament.
Die cut Winter from the 4 Seasons die set, Bliss, Let it Snow, Flourished Frame, the ornament from Love Joy Peace Christmas Ornament, the pine boughs from Create a Wreath all from white Soft Finish Cardstock.
Die cut the snowflakes from Brrrrr and Merry Christmas 4 from masking paper, a post-it or removable labels.
Choose Distress Ink colours that complement the photos. Since mine were almost black and white because of snow and trees, I went with pretty dark colours and then added hints of other colours to pick up the jacket and toque.
Adhere the snowflakes randomly on the base cardstock and begin blending colours, right over the snowflakes. You probably don’t want to do this under where the photos will be! Every once in a while, move the snowflakes and blend over the original masked area and continue blending. If you can spritz your blending and get little dots to appear they will also make the background interesting. By moving the snowflake diecuts and blending over the masked area you’ll create the illusion of depth.
Once you’ve blended the colours to your satisfaction, begin adding the diecuts and photos. Refer to the sample photos for placement. The Flourished Frame and photo are adhered to the background with 3D Foam Squares and the ornament is adhere with two layers of the foam adhesive. Everything else is adhered with Glue Dots.
Now you have an awesome memory of a fabulous day!

Karen here today. I’m still working through my virtual travels in my “Places I’ve Been” journal. Today’s trip is to Delaware. I went with a girlfriend in December 2019. For today’s post, I decided to finally try out the Planner Essentials 22, Planner Pocket 3. It’s a fun die set!
LoVe this. For thee pages, I used mostly paper from Reminiscence, The Book. Some of the embellishments were created from the Mystical Winter Collection and/or from my stash.
To create this page, I cut out the “inner tag” at 4″x7-1/2″ and cut the tag topper and pocket from Planner Essentials 22. I used a transparency for the window. The page base is cut with Planner Essentials 4. A great video on putting together the page can be found here. The letter dies can be found in Planner Essentials 23. I used both the smallest and the medium versions of the letters. To make application easier, I used 101mm Double Sided Adhesive on the paper before cutting it.
The tag is embellished with stamps from Destination Phrases, Water Creatures and Background 1. I used some Stormy Sky and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides (along with black ink). I also added a couple fishes from the Diving Accessories dies and some Artsy Scenery Washi Tape.
The shells and flowers that I used for embellishing the front and back of my Delaware pages are from the Seashells, Flower Power, and Blooming Branches dies. I used small scraps of paper from Mystical Winter, Reminiscence and other scraps in my stash.
The back page also has a few dies from the Planner Labels set. I used White Craft Drops and dies from the Reinforcement Variety Pack 1 and 2.

To create this layout: Step 1 – cover the background paper with clear gesso (I used a paper from the Mystical Winter Collection) Step 2 – stamp the image from the Frosty Patterns at the top, bottom and side
Step 3 – use texture paste and a stencil from the Pattern Stencil Pack along the one side and allow to dry Step 4 – Die cut, ink and assemble 14 – 15 flowers (I used florals 1, 2, 3, 4,) Step 5 – die cut 2 cubic background out of coordinating cardstock. Highlight the word Winter by using snowflake paste or glitter Step 6 – die cut 2 Diagonal Stitched Fishtails
Step 7 – mat your photo and assemble the photo area as shown Step 8 – using some frayed cheese cloth run a piece from the top to the bottom on the one side and one from side to side in the middle
Good morning! The holiday season is upon us and I am excited! To share my Christmas spirit I created a Christmas layout of my husband and our oldest boy.
To create this layout: Step 1 – Cover your paper with clear gesso (allow to dry or heat set) then use your favorite ECD stencil ( I used the dot dot dot stencil)and texture paste on the left hand side of the paper – I used a paper from the worn wood paper pack Step 2 – using the splatter technique splatter your coordinating colors on the paper over your stenciled image using your scissors cut three small indents on your paper then distress all your edges Step 3 – using coordinating colorants color the lace and allow to dry. Using your double sided tape adhere the lace to the indents that you cut earlier. Step 4 – color a large circular frame and a title with white gesso and allow to dry. Once dry use Snowflake paste on both pieces and allow to dry
Step 5 – die cut 11 poinsettias and 5 of just the smallest, some leaves and 3 large and 3 small pine cones from the Christmas Accents die set. Ink the edges of all pieces and assemble. Once assembled add snowflake paste to each piece and allow to dry.
Step 6 – die cut as many stems & branches from the Create a Wreath as you want, ink the edges, add the pearl rose craft drops to the berry part of the branches and add snowflake paste and allow to dry
Step 7 – Mat your photo and assemble as shown Step 8 – add some seed beads, gems or art stones

To create this layout: Step 1 – Using your favorite ECD papers (I used Summer Art) have one 12″x12″ or 30cm x 30cm paper, trim another to 3″x6″ or 7.5cm x 15.25cm, and trim one more 4″x 7.25″ or 10.15cm x 18.5 cm, and one at .75″x 6″ or 2cm x 15.25cm Ink all the edges of the papers Step 2 – using coordinating cardstock die cut 4 silhouetted circles of varies sizes using your favorite ECD circle die (I used stitched circles) and 3 silhouetted rectangles and 1 full rectangle of various sizes (I used stitched rectangles)
Step 3 – Die cut, ink and assemble 9 of your favorite ECD flowers (I used Florals 2, and florals 3) Step 4 – Die cut 1 film strip, 2 small filmstrip from Planner Essentials 24, one dragonfly and the summer word and shadow from the Summer Art set from coordinating cardstock. Ink all the edges.
Step 5 – Mat your photo Step 6 – Assemble as shown
Good morning! Laura with you today to share my newest layout created for Elizabeth Craft Designs! I LOVE making flowers and the new dies from ECD are AWESOME and were perfect for creating this wedding layout for my beautiful niece’s upcoming wedding!
To Create this layout: Step 1 – cover your background paper with clear gesso (I used Craft O’clock Celebrate today collection) Step 2 – using your favorite ECD stencil and texture paste approximately 3″ (9.5cm) from the left side and allow to dry (I used the Dot Dot Dot stencil) Step 3 – using the watercolor palette and coordinating colors to your background paper highlight the stenciled image and allow to dry Step 4 – adhere the trimming off of your patterned paper, or cut a piece at 1/2″ (approx. 1cm) x 12 (30cm) on the stenciled image
Step 5 – using coordinating soft finish cardstock die cut one Elegant Ornament and adhere as shown (I used pewter soft finish cardstock) Step 6 – from coordinating patterned paper create 3 4×6 photo mats and adhere as shown using cardboard and 3D adhesive to add dimension Step 7 – diecut using coordinating soft finish cardstock one set of Ornate Gateway and adhere as shown
Step 8 – Using your favorite ECD flower and leaves dies, die cut, ink and assemble 15 flowers and 15 leaves and adhere as shown (I used florals 1, florals 2, florals 3, florals 4, and stamen flowers with dove, pewter and white soft finish cardstock) Step 9 – add art stones and seed beads

To create this layout: Step 1 – trim a paper from the Rusty Weathered paper pack to 11 1/2 x 11 1/2 and distress the edges Step 2 – adhere the paper to a piece of black cardstock distress the edges of the cardstock Step 3 – mat the photo and distress the edges of the photo mat
Step 4 – die cut 3 Stitched Circles and create rolled flowers from coordinating papers
Step 5 – Die cut 2 Mandala from black cardstock and cut one in half
Step 6 – fussy cut 4 flowers from the patterned paper
Step 7 – die cut 3 Leafy Branch from black cardstock
