Christmas Magic

December 21, 2019

Merry Christmas!  It’s Suzanne here today with a last minute Christmas card!

When I created this stamp, I knew it would be versatile when used with the dies.  And when I went to create this card, I was torn!  What would the focus be?  Christmas?  Believe?  Magic?  We have all three dies available to choose from!  I guess I should make one of each card, but because glitter was on my mind, I decided that a shiny “Magic” would be the focus.

This is how you can make this card:

Instructions:

Form a tent fold card base from vanilla cardstock measuring 4.5 x 7.25”. Die cut Christmas and the small holly overlay from green cardstock .  Die cut the plain holly leaf from patterned paper.  Adhere the holly overlay to the patterned leaf.

Die cut Magic from a piece of cardstock with Clear Double Sided adhesive applied to the top.  Remove the release paper and cover with glitter.  Brush off excess glitter and polish the surface of the glittered diecut to bring out the glow!  Nice!

Stamp the sentiment (using a stamp positioner) on a larger piece of vanilla cardstock.  Adhere the diecuts under the stamped sentiment as shown, then trim to make a panel to approximately 3 x 6”. Cut a slightly larger mat of red and another of green.  Attach all together and mount on the card base with foam adhesive for dimension.

Merry Christmas to you all!  May you have a wonderful holiday season no matter what you celebrate.  And because we are creative people, make sure you give yourself something – the gift of time.  Time to play and experiment.  Have fun!
