Planner Essentials Scrapbooking Soft Finish Cardstock Stamping

Mighty Fine Fun

February 17, 2020

Karen here today from Craftily Yours! I’m excited to be sharing with you some pages I created using the Planner line. These dies and stamps can be used for planning, but I also enjoy using them to document special moments in my life. Today’s post is all about a mighty fine time I had with three wonderful women at the last Scrapbook Expo in my area!

What an amazing group of women that is! The front of my page uses the following items: Planner Essentials 27 (for the page base), Fitted Rounded Rectangles, Retro Labels Sayings Stamps, Planner Labels dies, Reinforcement Variety Pack Dies, Background Stamps 1 and Background Stamps 2.

I love the little extra “oomph” that the background stamps bring to a blank white page. (And those desserts were amazing too!)

This picture is one of my absolute favorites ever. The Expo happened over Halloween, we each got some dress-up items at Hobby Lobby, and this pic shows my gorgeous friend with a very odd cat sneaking up on her. (Hint: the cat is me!) To make the page, I used: Planner Essentials 27 (this is the backside of the other page), Pieces of Life 4 – Retro Stamps, Planner Essentials 26 (tag), Planner Essentials 21 – Note Pieces (corner piece), and the Reinforcements Variety Pack.

The stamp was stamped with a distress oxide ink, and I love the almost vintage way it stamped. The corner piece cut with a die from Planner Essentials 21 is from the G45 Patterned Paper. And in the picture below, you can see where I added back in the numbers 31 on the tag topper (subtle nod to October 31!)

Thank you so much for stopping by today. If you’re not already, be sure to join the Facebook ECD Planner Group. There’s all sorts of amazing inspiration there on how to use the Planner Line.

Craftily yours, Karen
