Inspiration from the Design Team Joset Designs Planner Essentials Scrapbooking Soft Finish Cardstock Stamping

Most Wonderful Time

August 26, 2019

It’s Karen here today. Christmas is, for me, the most wonderful time of the year. I finally got around to creating pages for my special moments book with some pictures from Christmas 2018. I used some of the NEW Planner Line dies and stamps.

To create pages like these, die cut the following from 90lb White Soft Finish Cardstock.

  • Two facing pages from Planner Essentials 12 – Arrow Pages & Trees (background created with Distress Oxide inks in Broken China and Faded Jeans)
  • One page from Planner Essentials 16 – Christmas Tree Page (background created with Distress Oxide inks in Lucky Clover and Peeled Paint)
  • One snowflake from the Snowflakes dies. For this die-cut, put 101mm Double Sided Adhesive on before cutting to make easier to use later. I ended up cutting it and adding it in several places to the edge of the pages.

I decorated the pages also with some of the new stamps. The large sentiment stamp is from Reindeer Mail, and the “ho ho ho” is repeated stamping from Winter Words.

The ornaments in silver paper are in the Planner Essentials 15 – Bookmark 2. The tree out of the center of one of the ornaments was excellent as decor elsewhere on the pages. The stars in silver were cut from the stars in Planner Essentials 12. Finally, the 2018 in Silver were cut from the Blackboard Numbers set.

Those AMAZING little tree hole reinforcers are part of Planner Essentials 15. (Personal note: I absolutely adore all the different reinforcers that come with these dies!!) Again, adding 101mm Double Sided Adhesive before diecutting makes adding these so easy.

Add some pictures, a wee bit of patterned paper and some journaling. I also added some silver and gold pen dots and dashes. Voila – special moments page done!

Thanks so much for peeking into my special moments planner today!

Craftily yours,

Karen
