Oceans Of Joy Card

March 16, 2020

Hi Everyone, it’s Tina here. Today I have a card to share with you using the Mermaid, Whale and Ocean Edges Dies to create this Oceans of Joy card. Below are the steps to create your own card.

Step 1 – Trim White Soft Finish Cardstock to 8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, score at 4 1/4” and fold in half for a vertical side fold card. (A2)

Step 2 – Trim Blue Cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″. Diecut Adventure Edges using scrap piece of cardstock (Clouds die). Place the diecut on the Blue Cardstock and apply White Ink using a blender brush to the edges. This will create clouds.

Step 3 – Diecut Ocean Edges using Vellum. Adhere to the sides edges of the Blue Cardstock created from Step 2. Adhere the entire panel to the card front using 3mm Clear Double Sided Adhesive Tape.

Step 4 – Diecut Garden Notes Frame It Stitched Rectangles using White Soft Finish Cardstock. Adhere to card front using Foam Tape.

Step 5 – Diecut and assemble Whale and adhere to the card in between top and second layer wave using Foam Tape.

Step 6 – Diecut and assemble Mermaid and adhere to the card using Foam Tape.

Step 7 – Stamp Splish Splash sentiment to White Soft Finish Cardstock using Black Ink. Diecut Diagonal Fishtail Banner to the sentiment created. Trim the right side and adhere to the card.

Step 8 – For added interest and sparkle apply Craft Drops Transparent Crystal to the Star on the Mermaid’s Hair Band. While wet sprinkle Silk Microfine Glitter Warm Diamond. Let Dry.

This card can be used for many occasions by changing the sentiment and or colours. Below is a link to all the products used. Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
