“Officially Moved” Greenville planner pages

June 10, 2020
Hello everyone, Annette Green here today with a continuation of the story of our move to Greenville, South Carolina. I’ve been documenting the process and today’s post is all about officially moving, so I thought I’d share the next couple of pages in my planner and how I created them. I hope you enjoy!
As in all my Greenville planner posts, I’ve used a color palette of greens, blacks, tans and oftentimes a pop of color. Today I started with two tabbed pages. (all products used are linked below.) To keep a cohesive look, I used a bit of the green print on both pages, then add smaller areas of tans and blacks.
After die-cutting three tags from various tan papers, I added the black topper tab and stamped two of the tags for journaling. The middle tag will serve nicely for journaling with on the horizontal stripes.
After adhering the “For The Record” tab at the top, I added the multi-slot pocket piece for my tags and added “Details” across the front. The pocket holds my three journaled tags.
Once I adhered the large Photo frame, I added the orange arrow (my pop of color) and a black enamel star, then stamped “This is Us.”
Since I have a lot of photos for this spread, a great way to extend the space is to add tag pages between the main pages. I’ve added hole reinforcers to the larger tag which fold over to the other side, then I stamped around the holes of the smaller tag.
After die-cutting some banners and pennants, I stamped “Hooray, It’s Today” onto individual card stock pieces and adhered them in place. Again, I’ve used that orange pop of color for small accents.
This is how it looks when the pages are stacked in order.
Once I’ve calculated how many photos I wish to feature, I then add photo mats to each page, plus any other accents or stamping.
See how much space you can gain for photos and journaling when you add these tag pages? This is the back side of each.
Finally, I add my photos and journaling. I realized after I already had things in place that the banner was going to cover up my husband’s face, so I simply adhered the photo on a tilt and was pleasantly surprised at how fun it looked!
This planner spread shares our story of selling the house, packing up, and moving to Greenville, SC. A big change, a lot of work, and a fun new chapter in life.
Our story continues as we get settled in here, explore our new area, and enjoy new experiences. I’ll be continuing with my Greenville planner in the coming weeks. Thanks for stopping in today to check it out.
