Susan’s Garden Designer Challenge – September

September 12, 2017
Hi everyone!

The Susan’s Garden Design Team are back today with another fun Designer Challenge to share with you.

This month the challenge is …. Home Decor – create a project which could be used as a Home Decor item which includes any products from Susan’s Garden.

Susan’s Garden has many die sets which would work wonderfully to create home decor items, and as you will see by our Design Teams projects there are a lot of ideas you can use to decorate your homes or even give as gifts.

For our Challenge today we are giving away a $20 Gift Card to use on the Elizabeth Craft Designs website to 3 winners.

To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post below and answer this question: What Home Decor items do you like to create to use in your home?

We will select 3 lucky winners in a random drawing.

The winners will be announced on Friday, September 15th, here on the Elizabeth Craft Designs blog.

Now let’s take a look at the wonderful creations our talented Design Team have created for the Challenge this month. For more information about the cards, click on the designer’s name under each card to be taken to the designer’s blog post and will open up in a new window.

To be honest I really don’t make anything for my house. I do mess around with flowers & greens to add my shelf and such. But they are sliks that I’ve bought. I did stamp on matting that I use in picture frames but I did those when I first started stamping and I look at them now and I need to get rid of them and do something else because I am embarrassed of how ugly they are. LOL

  • Henriëtte September 12, 2017 at 12:13 pm

  • Kimberly McField September 12, 2017 at 9:45 am

Wow, these are all beautiful! I love the realistic look of the flowers. I make a variety of home items to display, including 3D cards and jewelry/pins, but my favorite are wreaths. For one wreath, I made metal leaves out of aluminum cans (after cutting, flattening, and hand-embossing them) and colored them with alcohol inks in fall colors. I hang it up every year, and people are always surprised to find out the metal leaves are re-purposed aluminum cans!
