Hey Crafters! Katelyn here, sharing with you my Good Luck Card.
To create my card, I’ve used a variety of dies from Suzanne Cannon as well as Joset Designs. You’ll want to read below as I share with you how to recreate my card at home.
Step One. Choose two pieces of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. Die cut a 4 1/4″ Fitted Indented Rectangle out of one of the patterned papers. Die cut a 3 3/4″ Fitted Indented Rectangle out of the other patterned paper. Distress the edges of both papers. Ink the edges of both papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Two. Choose two coordinating pieces of patterned paper out of the Reminiscence the Book. Die cut a 4″ Stitched Indented Rectangle out of one of the patterned papers. Die cut a 3″ Stitched Indented Rectangle out of the other patterned paper. Distress the edges of both papers. Ink the edges of both papers using Black Soot Distress Ink and a blending tool with foam.
Step Three. Die cut the Flourished Frame out of a piece of black cardstock.
Step Four. Die cut the Good Luck word once out of black cardstock and a second time out of a piece of White Soft Finish Cardstock.
Step Five. Adhere the 4″ rectangle to the 4 1/4″ rectangle.
Step Six. Foam square the 3 3/4″ rectangle to the 4″ rectangle. Adhere the flourished frame to the 3 3/4″ rectangle.
Step Seven. Foam square the 3″ rectangle to the middle of the 3 3/4″ rectangle.
Step Eight. Adhere the two Good Luck words together, making sure that a bit of the black Good Luck word shows behind the white Good Luck word. Adhere the Good Luck word to the middle of the 3″ rectangle.
Step Nine. Cut a cardbase out of White Soft Finish Cardstock that measures 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″. Adhere the cardfront to the cardbase.
Thanks for joining me today! I hope that I’ve inspired you to create your own version of my Good Luck Card.
